A second generation adventure Caitvi Moms fankid fic that fell out of my brain if anyone is interested! 'echoes across time'
"How're things with Sparrow?" Ai asks, moving her brush down Cassidy's hair, the latter drone sitting on the floor against the former's bed.
"Good. He's really nice once you get past the slight inferiority complex." The black haired drone closes her eyelights as a barely audible purr emits from her off center core.
Ai giggles. "Does he still think you're too good for him?"
Cassidy sighs. "Yyyyep," she replies, making a small pop at the end.
"But that'll be figured out eventually. How are things with Apollo?"
Ai pauses.
"They're, uh... good. Yeah, good."
Cassidy looks back at her younger sister. "You suck at lying."
"Yeah, I knowww." She looks up. "Things have been... different since the body transfer. Mostly good! It makes me smile every time I think of how he doesn't have those damages anymore."
"But... I feel like sometimes, he's more... hesitant? Around me, mostly. There's a pause before we hold hands, he looks around before we hug. I'm worried he thinks he's doing too much—"
"Because you worried you were doing too much?" Cassidy finishes. "It's a teen body, right? Early or not, you'd expect some mindset changes. Though, I guess wording it that way makes it sound like he's not himself."
"And he's definitely still himself." Ai lets out a stream of giggles. By now, she's continued brushing Cassidy's hair. "I can tell that much from how he just is."
"I guess... I got through my worries, but I had you and others. I don't think he does."
"That sounds about right. Not too many guys for him to look to. I mean"—Cassidy snickers—"Bishop and Rad might be too far in for the kid."
Ai pouts. "Mom told you something, didn't she? She won't tell me what's making her laugh whenever she sees them."
"And she's right for it." Cassidy sighs. "Just be there for him? Maybe he's worried about how you'll react, so just show him with actions instead of words that it's alright."
"When did you get good at advice?"
"I've had lots of references." Cassidy stands up and stretches, then holds her hand out for Ai to pass her the brush as they trade spots. "So, anything else?"
"Uh..." Ai sits down. "I'm starting to get this weird feeling when I see him talking to other people, mostly girls."

How Vaggie figured out playing is not just for very small kittens.
This was done in a bus, that's why the longer lines are really squiggly.
Doodled me and @candy-heart-brew as Jax and Gangle ^_^ cuz I'm Jax's age and Candy is Gangle's age
