now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down and i’d like to take a minute just sit right there i’ll tell you how i became the prince of a town called bel air in west philadelphia born and raised on the play ground is where i spent most of my days chillin out maxin relaxin all cool and all shooting some b ball outside of the school when a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in my neighbourhood i got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said you’re moving with your aunty and uncle in bel air i whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror if anything i could say that this cab was rare but i thought nah forget it yo holmes to bel air i pulled up to a house about seven or eight and yelled to the cabby yo holmes smell you later looked at my kingdom i was finally there to sit on my thrown as the prince of bel air

1980s and 1990s sitcoms all had opening theme music that many people STILL remember for better or worse. These songs were often, written specifically for the sitcoms with lyrics relevant to the show’s theme. Iconic sitcom composer Jonathan Wolff calls his efforts creating sonic brands. He definitely succeeded with the legendary Seinfeld theme music! Jonathan also called out how there were a lot of “silly theme songs with melodic sassy saxophones” popularized by ABC’s family friendly Miller-Boyett empire.

Hello, live studio audience! This mp3 was made a few years ago. I am extremely proud of it. Here's the story: Me and my 3 roommates entered the 48 Hour Film Festival. Our movie was about a former child star who was on a sitcom called "Once In A Smile." We needed the theme song for the end credits. The idea is that it's a lame 90s (or 80s?) sitcom theme, with cheesy meaningless lyrics and a heavenly mix and terrible guitar soloing to be "cool", and of course, the bluesy and soulful ending of the song (my favorite part.) Here are the lyrics: Every once in a smile You gotta be with the one you love You gotta look right at the sun Fits just like a glove! Once in a smile A brand new day Through the dark Your face will light the way ONCE IN A SMILE! Isn't that what life's all about?
