Camp Vesper Point Web Redesign

Vesper Point is a Summer Camp for boys and girls (and conference center) located on Lake Chickamauga in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, surrounded by thickly wooded hardwood forests. While Vesper Point camps are new and exciting every year, their web site was years old and in need of a refresher.

Widgets & Stone helped bring the vibrant camp to life on the new site design through the camp’s diverse photography and lively videos. Our team simplified the design to work just as easily on smart phones and tablets as it does on a desktop or a laptop. We also made sure it integrated with other applications necessary for camper registration and release forms. On top of that, we built it onto a platform that was easy for the camp to use and update!

The result is a site sure to make everyone a happy camper.

Site Redesign

To start off this new year I am going to redesign my blog. This basically just means that I am going to change the graphics and theme of it. I have already started with the layout, and will slowly start redesigning headers and such. I apologize if everything looks wonky for awhile.

For those who haven’t read our sneak peek sock journal, here are just a few of the features: 

New wishlists - friends and family will be able to buy you stuff on your wishlists, even if they don’t have your address (note: we don’t give it to them, either)! You’ll also be able to make multiple wishlists, and they can be private or publicly searchable with your email address. 

Streamlined checkout - it’s super fast and easier than pie to buy your socks from us!

New product pages - They’re so pretty we could cry. 

Updated search - It’s easy to find what you need. Categories are now automatically searchable, with even more facets to explore. Have larger feet, but want “More Feminine” styles? You’ll be able to filter for those! Or maybe you only want to see “Gender Neutral” styles for small feet? You can do that as well. 

Rewards Points - We don’t need to explain why this is exciting, do we? :D

As mentioned above, we are nearing our launch date. We will have a day of downtime right before our grand opening so we can add stock and make sure things work. We’ll let you know in advance when that’ll be happening, and we’ll be on social media all that day to keep you company and answer any questions you may have!
