Here's some concept art I did last night, super rough, just getting ideas out, for some of the characters from Ahsoka in the Rebels style.

I spent about two years, on and off, working on a project looking at the adaptations of animated Star Wars characters, it ended up as a 3 hour video, but I thought it might be interesting to consider how those new live action character would look adapted to the animated style.

It might take a few more goes to come up with something that's more authentic to the programme. Some like Shin might even be too pretty for the Rebels style. I really like the Rebels style, I love the show, but I do think that some of these live action designs wouldn't have translated so well over. That's what experimentation is for.

Did "Tales of the Empire" just do this?! Did they steal a "Simpsons" bit?! I couldn't stop laughing. What does hand-to-hand combat have to do with engineering? It's so short! Where's Eli, DAVE?! We could have had a season of The Bad Batch that wasn't truncated, but we got this instead?!

What started as hair practice escalated :P Still have a lot to understand as far as shadows and proportions go, but I’m super happy with this :) I finally feel confident in using my tablet, now my art skills just have to get better :P Based on a chapter I’m working on for my (almost finished) WIP Copper for the Charlatan, a primarily hux x ofc fic :)
