GIFTED EVERY STRENGTH
I AM THE STORM THAT IS APPROACHING
I hope I'm not jinxing this, but I'm entertaining my ambitions and so I've decided that I'd really like to make a Skyrim fic as my first webcomic project! I need some experience under my belt before I jump into making my original story, so now that I'm locked in on the TES brainrot, why not write something for Faenil? I decided to give the story a Finnish title despite the story being written entirely in English haha. Taivaanrajan Tappaja is a (poor) play on words with Skyrim and the Finnish word for the horizon, and it roughly translates to "Killer of Sky's Edge", I thought it would give the story some personal flair... And maybe all the Finnish TES fans can go torille with me too or something. Anyway, I really like how this turned out <3 It'll take a while still before I have the whole story mapped out, and drawing it will be my personal hell, but stay tuned until then I guess?
Sinä uuden aatteen julistaja // Kaiken pyhän kuristaja // Tulet enkeleiltä siivet repimään
I was feeling down so I drew my favourite scene from @jumalanpelko , because I binge read it the other day after months of trying to get to it and now I can't stop thinking about it.
I could go on all day but there's something about this story that is so beautiful and means so much to me even if it's heartbreaking because it doesn't romanticize the cult or treat it as some quirky edgy bit or sensationalize the horror elements. It feels insane to say that this story feels much more realistic than many other popular media revolving around cults because there was so much with the characters I could resonate with in a way that other media never has. I often avoid the topic in the media I consume because I'm bitter about the way cults are so often misunderstood and treated like a mere fictional trope, but then this short comic about cats absolutely nailed everything and I love it so much for that. This story brings me hope, not just for xenofiction comics but for proper representation of religious cult trauma, because this is what I want the world to have more of, and I truly hope this author never stops making art.
I know this drawing is kind of a spoiler but if you haven't read it already, please do it now!!
Update: these are now closed, thank you everyone <3
commissions by sixparasites
At long last, my commissions are open. As I've stated before, I'm taking commission inquiries through email right now for three slots. These are NOT first come first serve. You will find details, prices and instructions, including the email address, on this carrd. (sixparasites.carrd.co)
I am taking inquiries during the 23rd - 31st of March, and the slots will be chosen on the 2nd of April.
Since this is my first opening, I truly have no idea if I have enough interest to even fill three slots, but there's only one way to find out.
I can't stress enough that I still very much live in poverty. Rest assured your money will only keep me well fed. Please don't be shy, come get some art, and share this post if you can! :3
Thank you everyone for sticking with me this far.
THE CREATURE THAT SPEAKS (ARTIFICIAL ORGANIC CONSTRUCT)
Some kintype sketches I drew for some friends yesterday
a coke prescribing doctor that turned into an outlaw cowboy that turned into a cryptid etc etc etc
Decided to make one of these too - that's the first time I've been drawing consistently enough to fill every month of the year! Most pieces can be found on my alt @boiledkwamaegg and some pieces here are also private. You can see the point where I got hit with the fucking OC brainrot lol
