FINALE
"You are nothing but INSIGNIFICANT INSECTS TO AKU!"
“Time is an incredibly delicate thing. It is a force so life altering that even we do not tamper with it. But we must acknowledge what has been done. You successfully defeated a catastrophic evil that threatened the well-being of the world, and saved countless lives from a future full of endless horror. For your effort, we will do the impossible.”
This took a lot longer than it should have, but I’m glad I finished it. A lot of people have put their alternate endings online, but I still wanted to add mine to the bunch.
I felt that this song matched the mood of the image. https://youtu.be/NYKSeFZo4xo
GET READY AKU!
JACK IS BACK.
Opinion: Samurai Jack season 5 was excellent until this episode. Having a romance just undermines the character arcs of both Jack and Ashi, not to mention it is severely creepy. Ashi does not have the emotional, mental, nor social intelligence for a romance. She has suffered years of trauma and abuse and she is obviously unknowing about matters of sex and romance. This just makes her seem like a child and it's extremely gross seeing as how Jack has the mentality of a 70 year old, plus he's also traumatized and frankly, should be preoccupied with killing Aku and saving his home and all that. If you had to have a romance, there are so many ways it could've been improved. Ashi could've been established as an assassin who was less oblivious and ignorant about the world instead of basically infantilizing her. She could've been not so blantanly sexualised. Jack could've not looked so old — we know he's in his twenties but the beard and wrinkles aged him (seriously, a man bun would fixed this). It just seems so pandering and kinda left field; it wasn't really built up at all. They both should be focused on saving the world and this just really cheapens this final season.
