crisse i really feel you about being injured with adhd, literally when i had concussion i almost went mad because i Couldn't Move. ik its like, the small hours but would you want to occupy us both by talking about any wips?
Solidarity! I fail so bad at not moving. And then I’m like holy fuck that hurts and then I try to be good and then I fail again. Two more days of this? (Technically it’s supposed to be a week, but yo I have a show to do!)
So let’s see... works in progress....
Currently I’m working on a chapter of the Mafia AU, this one is further Adventures in Winnipeg featuring Canadians and Finns (and one American that Does Not know how he got here) which also ties into Edmonton and Connor is long suffering and then Taylor in New Jersey. So that.
I have one that I’ve called “Hurricanes Halloween” because I needed to title the document something. It’s another AU, with various, uh, mythical beings, in North Carolina. Inspired entirely by Erik Haula’s eyes.
I have one that’s the start to an Urban Fantasy AU but I still haven’t found a team that feels right. I just had a really good opening paragraph, so I wrote it down.
I have a Vampire AU that only has 41 words, so I’m not even sure what’s becoming of that one. But I really want to write a Vampire AU so this one counts as a WIP.
I have revisited a non-AU about Patrik Laine’s rookie year. I’d stopped writing it because people, um, didn’t care for the pairing. And I guess in 2016, I cared. I don’t love all of it, so I have to rewrite a bit, so that’s a little ways off being publishable.
I have about 1k of another Mafia chapter that I really should go back and write, which features Teuvo and “The Incident”, which is what I’ve called that document.
I also have another cutscene from the big non-AU Teuvo story that is meant to just be a quick scene but has become something else. How shocking for me.
(And then I have the other WIPs that are just hanging around, the Anastasia AU, the AU I started writing for Katie, some chapters of unfinished stuff, etc. Bunch of others that are less than 100 words, so don’t really count.)
That’s... more than I thought I had. Oops. THANKS FOR ASKING!! That was fun to write out! And also reminds me that I have a lot of things I should be working on.
So how about you? What do you have in the WIP folder?
