The Good Place

funniest moment: “Guys...I think this might be the Bad Place.” “Jason?! Jason figured it out!?!

heartbreakingest moment: I know pure shenanigans are going to result, but Chidi without memory walking into “Eleanor’s” office and her greeting him was...ouch.

heartwarmingest moment: Jason and Tehani running around just giving people cash was fucking sweet, in a sugar way rather than cool

most badass moment: Tehani destroying her sister’s table with an axe and then realizing how her art expressed the trauma their parents subjected them both to and hugging her. I’m so fucking proud, and also the axe thing was cool.

most…okay, you know how I sometimes scream excitedly about things like narrative parallels or intricately constructed plot arcs? top moment for that: the way new philosophic principles are genuinely expressed in each episode. My favorite was the very straightforward one where each of the Cockroaches reacted to learning about Reality in different ways - Chidi with nihilism, Tehani with acting according to certain allegedly Good principles, Jason with direct action, and Eleanor just winging it and doing good because it felt right in the moment (I don’t remember the names of all the different schools of thought.)

Yara tossed the snowball into Daenerys’s hair, hoping like hell her little flirtation would be taken as what it was, and not some slight that would keep the silver-haired, violet-eyed beauty from ever looking in her direction again.

Dany had been going on about her bearded dragons. The very trio she’d done her introductory speech about in their shared speech class. She was starting to ramble, something their professor had marked her down for upon grading said speech. But Yara could see she was impassioned.

Impassioned or no, she wished to ask her out for coffee. And snow in her hair was as good a way to break the ice as any, right?

Daenerys stopped abruptly in midsentence, huffing out an indignant squawk. Her face settled into what could only be described as an unresting bitch face.

Oh no. I’ve done it. I’ve either misread her, or she’s misread me. Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

Not dropping her facade, Daenerys did drop to a kneel and began rolling her own snowball and chucking it directly into Yara’s face. “So rude,” she hissed.

Spitting out the snow, Yara did what she’d wanted to do all day. “I wasn’t trying to be an asshole, I was trying to ask you out.”

Daenerys reached out and cleared some of the snow from Yara’s face. “I promise you can just interrupt me next time. No need to throw snow in my face.”

Yara smirked. “It’s so much fun, though.”

“It is fun, isn’t it?” Dany tossed a handful of loose snow at Yara and shrieked in laughter as she stepped just out of reach. “Coffee?”

“Sounds great…” Yara was already rolling another snowball, though.  Coffee could wait until after she had her revenge.

12. What types of foods are a sensory issue for you? Talk about an experience with that.

So mostly my food sensory issues tend to be do with texture and often it's that the food isn't wet (or sometimes crispy) enough. I couldn't eat mashed potatoes for years, and I can only eat it now if I have it with something that has lots of sauce, so I can mix the sauce and potato all together (my meals end up looking kind of disgusting, but I like them haha). I'm very much a mixing autistic most of the time. Not strictly foods, but I can't stand most fizzy drinks. It's again improved as I get older (I'll drink alcoholic fizzy drinks like cider and use lemonade as a mixer, and fizzy ginger beer is fine) but I will never ever touch coke or Pepsi or anything similar, the smell (and probably the colour as well) just freaks me out and makes me gag. (I actually also feel like this towards energy drinks now I think of it - I hate when I'm on the bus or in the library or something and someone has an energy drink and I can smell it - gag). Also things like Fanta and cherryade and stuff, which I could drink (as in I don't have an aversion like I do to coke etc), I won't, bc I don't like the taste - I think it's the artificialness of it? Which is the same reason I don't like most sweets.

15. Do you experience echolalia? If so, what are some of your favorite phrases to repeat?

Yes, tbh it's mostly me uses random silly/cute phrases around my gf. One I seem to be using a lot at the moment is "(pronoun) is/are just babey."

16. Do you collect anything? If so, what do you collect and why?

I guess I collect records? I have a record player and I'm trying to collect as many of my favourite albums as possible. I think I've got nearly thirty now, hoping for some more for my birthday (which is in just over a week). Not sure if I collect anything else? Cooking utensils/ingredients (my dream is to go to the spice section of the supermarket and just buy all the spices I don't have) but that's for practical cooking reasons, as well as cooking being my special interest.
