My @untildawn-secretsanta for @impossibleclair of their OTP of Sam/Ash! I was so stoked to do a derby themed piece for someone who wanted it so no way could I pass up the opportunity to draw some more sapphic skater shenanigans. I hope you enjoy it! :)

Who kisses the other on the nose and the one receiving the kiss blushes? Have you seen Ashley’s button nose? It’s kissable. She’s frequently the victim from both the guys, the height advantage also doesn’t help her. I bet her blushing rivals Chris’ ability to go beet red. Chris is definitely the next in line for being bombarded just because of how flustered he gets and Ash knows he’s the easiest target of the two to get revenge on (with the help of Josh).
Who sits on their partner’s lap as they wrap their arms around their partners neck? Again, tied to the height thing, I think Ash likes to pile on their laps and be engulfed in comfy, tangled up in their arms and wrapped around them. Sometimes sprawled across both of them. Josh also likes to lay on the both, more so to be an annoyance, his is more attention seeking. Chris sits on Josh’s lap as a makeshift weighted blanket, Josh likes the comfort of being c r u s h e d when he’s being a sad boy.
Who kisses the inside of their partner’s palm before reassuring them everything is going to be okay? Josh strikes me as an unconventional kiss placer, and he’s touchy, and he knows hand kisses make Ash’s brain break because of all the classical victorian books she has a soft spot for.
Who initiates the forehead touch™? Chris, for sure. He also has intense eye contact in that as emphasis to whatever he’s reassuring one of the other two about.
Where do they first say “I love you”? In a cuddle pile, doing some dumb movie marathon, where they’re laughing a little too hard and someone let’s it slip. It’s the first time someone has said it since the context of...whatever this is and there’s a pause until someone clears their throat and says it back, but obviously a lot more serious. It is used frequently after.
Who wraps their arms around their partner who is cooking? I firmly believe the boys cannot cook. Ash probably is the only one that’s pretty decent at home meals. The other two will hug her from behind to see if they can get any early snacking privilege which usually earns them a smack on the back of their hand with some sort of stirring utensil. The boys also do it to each other in late night burrito microwaving, also again in attempt to steal a bite.
Who breaks out the first aid kit when the other gets a paper cut? Ash is clumsy and Josh is great at focusing at what he’s doing, not back up plans, so Chris has an impressively huge kit that’s always somehow mysteriously near by.
Who cuddles up to the other on the couch? All of them. But the boys love squishing Ash either between them or piling on her against the arm so she’s pinned and cannot leave.
How do they hold each other when their partner asks to be held? Chris Ash - Wraps his arms around her shoulders and she tucks her arms in against his torso, chin on her head. Josh- One around the shoulders, one around the waist, chin tucked on his shoulder while Josh has his face in the crook of his neck. Ash Chris - Wraps her arms around him, with his arms pinned underneath to force him in the hug longer than he thinks he wants it, and her face smooshed on his chest. Josh - Both of them have a leg hoisted up hooked around one another awkwardly, and arms are crossing over one another and cheek to cheek. It is not stable.
Josh Chris - Side hug, each with an arm around to cup a hip, head leaning on his shoulder so they can look at one another. Ash - HOISTED
Who picks up the other fireman style in a playful way? Ash does it to heave Josh off the spot she wants. Chris picks up ash for kisses she cannot escape.
Who brings the blanket to wrap them both up in it? Ash, the boys often get too comfortable in the piles so she’ll go fetch a blanket to work on tucking it around all of them.
Who falls asleep on who? What is their reaction when the other falls sleep on them? Chris is notorious for crashing during movies, so he’s usually knocked out on the other two. They snuggle closer, mostly to steal his body heat.
Who likes to be held and who likes to hold? Chis has arms made for holding and Ash like to hold but also to be squished, Josh is a brat that likes to be held.
Randomly started caring about my SkaterAU from forever back and realized I never drew Matt in it so using artistic liberty to lean him into Joth™ rollerderby boy for selfish reasons.
I wanted to make some UD buttons but too shy to ask artists to use their work for personal ones and too lazy to draw anything new so some friends suggested my roller derby AU :V
