After 2 years of procrastination (whoops) my Chibi Dragon series is now complete! Keep an eye out because these designs may be available to buy at some point in the future
Wizard meets dragons -- including an early appearance of an undead dragon, two years before Dragotha showed up in the corner of the White Plume Mountain area map. This was page margin art from "D&D Variant: Dragon Magic" by Michael Benveniste, in Dragon magazine 15, June 1978.
That article expanded upon the rules for spell-casting dragons, presenting a dragon spell list that included many new dragon spells. One of my favorites is the first level spell Breath Charm:
Any pebble, coin, or small mineral object becomes a charm vs dragon breath by use of this spell. Any one object or person touching the charm is not affected by dragon's breath. The charm is destroyed by this breath. Duration: Until used or dispelled. Range: Physical contact is necessary.
A single-use total immunity from breath weapons is potentially powerful, but I would keep this as level 1 in order to allow multiple castings during an encounter with a friendly allied dragon willing to equip the party with a useful gift. It could be nerfed to provide only resistance, but I might use it exactly as written since obtaining one of these is likely to be a rare event.

Skeletal Dragon vs Durnehviir
Skeletal Dragon
Durnehviir
The two undead dragons are facing off! The Skeletal Dragon is a unique encounter in Labyrinthian, while Durnehviir is found in the Soul Cairn, and can later be summoned as an ally. Durnehviir did quite well in his match last round, making the Skeletal Dragon the underdog here. Who are you rooting for?
Hey guys, I can't believe it, but I was inspired to draw something very different today!
I've been playing Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time since it released, and I adore this game, it is addictive in all the right ways! As a result, I wanted to make a drawing of my favourite character, Skelegon, the dragon that can transport us through time. However, as I am not the best at chibi styles, I thought it'd be a good idea to create him in my style.
So here we are, Skelegon in my style! I tried to make the anatomy match up to that of the character, so if some things look a bit off, blame my limited references. Lol.
Anyway, I hope you like it!
I do not own Fantasy Life, or Skelegon.

Day 28: Skeletal
Been working on commissions lately 🐲 MTG inspired logo.
Another one in the works and almost done!
My commissions are still open, check my bio if interested!
should I draw my old soma from 5 years ago
basics: so they were a skeletal dragon thing with angelic wings and long white fingers/claws and black hands,
same thing for the feet, they had scruffy fur on their feet with white claws, usually seen with a leaf
I’m gonna guess how I imagined the tail as a basic skeletal design with white and black fur on the tip of the tail, just to match the rest of the vibe (they didn’t have a tail before, I didn’t know how to make tails back then)
Should I draw my old sona
yes!!
