Part 1 Synopsis

Female student: "President~ ! Come by our stall!"

Jeanne is approached by many people as she makes her rounds at the school festival

Jeanne: “Well, thank you all so much!”

Jeanne: “I appreciate your kindness!”

Will Jeanne be able to complete her inspection...? 

Jeanne: “Ah... It’s going to be a great school festival!”

Part 2 Maiden-Sama’s enjoyment of inspection

Jeanne: "Well... It has been a blast!"

On the day of the school festival 

Jeanne, the student council president, inspects various parts of the school.

Jeanne: "Hehe, everyone seems to be having a great time"

Jeanne: 'But when there are many people, there will inevitably be many troubles'

Jeanne: 'As the student council president, I have to make sure to inspect thoroughly...'

Female student: "Ah! President!"

Female student: "If you don't mind, please try out our cotton candy!"

Jeanne: "Well... I appreciate your kind offer but I'm on inspection right now"

Jeanne: "Even so, I can't just walk around eating..."

Jeanne: 'It can't be helped... It's not polite to be so dismissive'

Hans: "Maiden-sama! If it's a permit...Here it is, it's right here!"

Jeanne: "Thank you very much! We have confirmed it"

Jeanne: "This, is this Yaki Udon...?"

Jeanne: "It smells so delicious!"

Teruko: "Why don't you try it?"

Teruko: "It would make for a good advertisement around the area if you ate it!"

Jeanne: "May I?"

Hans: "Yes! We've put a lot of love into this dish so please enjoy it!"

Jeanne: "Well then, thank you very much for your kind offer. I will take one then"

Jeanne: "My! It's delicious! The rich sauce filling my mouth... I can't get enough!"

Jeanne: "For dessert, I will have Ice cream and apricot pudding... Peach buns are also a must..."

Jeanne: "I have decided! I will have ice cream, apricot pudding and peach buns!"

Jeanne: "And with that, we're on our way...!"

Kevin: "...Maiden-sama?"

Jeanne: "Yes, what is it?"

Kevin: "...N, No, it's nothing..."

Female student: "President! Please eat our okonomiyaki!"

Male student: "Please try this syrup as well!!"

Jeanne: "Come on you two. Next up is a tour of the attraction booth over there"

Jeanne: "Ring toss, Haunted house, fortune telling, hehehe...I can't decide"

Jeanne: "Ahh...This year's school festival looks like it's going to be a great one"

Jeanne: "No matter how much time you have for inspection, it's not enough...!"

SKFC Day 4

May 23rd: Favorite Underrated Moment

Seth calls Kate “partner”

Listen I know there’s meta about my sad garbage husband and his trust issues and how Kate is the first person besides his brother he opens up to and so on, but I still have feelings about this.

Seth had stuck with Richie out of necessity their whole lives as partners. He didn’t pick his brother, but his brother didn’t pick him either. Vanessa and Sonja both told Seth they were his partner, made that choice for him. Sure he chose to marry Vanessa and he chose to get Sonja involved, but he didn’t fully see either of them as partners, not how he did his brother. They were just tagalongs. Casualties. But Kate… Kate, who he spent ONLY THREE MONTHS with, who was just a damn kid, who took care of his strung out ass, who lost everything to the same fucked up shit that took his brother… Those three months were all it took for Seth to look at Kate and decide for himself, for the first time that we’ve ever seen, that this person could make a good partner. She asked him, but didn’t demand it. She wanted to prove herself, but didn’t claim any right to it. The trouble was he knew they were each on their own dark path. They couldn’t work as a team, no matter how much they each wanted to, while they were consumed with their own agendas. When he hears about what happened to her, and in passing, it destroys him. You can see it in his reaction. The first person he ever chose to be his partner, the first person to care about him despite being a colossal fuck up, is gone. Just like that.

May 21st: Favorite Quote

“You. Be cool.” Obviously this need very little explanation? But I feel like it really is what bridges the gap between these two characters. Here we are, 30 episodes later, still echoing each other. It speaks a lot to their development. 


May 22nd: Favorite Episode

Can I say all of S3????? Matanzas had A+ cinematography, Shady Glen had some of the best dialogue, La Llorona is one of my favorite urban legends coupled with inCREDIBLE acting, and then of course Dark Side of the Sun…..
