Currently reading Skin Game and they recently introduced Goodman Grey. (Quote is from wiki as I am listening to the audiobooks)

Book: ...unremarkable-looking man in his late thirties, of medium height, built as if had more muscle to him than it is readily apparent. His features are clean-cut, pleasant but not particularly handsome, he can pass for a resident just about anywhere in the western hemisphere and in chunks of the rest of the world. Dark-haired with a few threads of grey in it, his eyes, however, weren't human: golden-brown with flecks of bronze in them and a semimetallic sheen to them.

James Marsters: gives him a southern gentleman drawl.

My brain: I'm gonna ignore all of that and he is Benoit Blanc now.

Harry is still so dumb. My blorbo. Just this entirely unwilling and grouchy about it White Knight. He gets away with so much more than any other Knight and he isn’t grateful for it at all. I love him.

Mab stuck in the same trap as Marcone. Harry wouldn’t be useful/admirable to them if he was any different than he was but at the same time he really tests their patience.

Karrin!!!!! My goddess. She’s saying all the things I’ve wanted someone to say to Harry. Calling it now, Skin Game is a stabilizing book. He’s got Mister on his lap. He’s having tea with Karrin.

He’s going to be stealing from the god of the underworld with the leader of the Nickleheads…

Just!!! This entire thing where the Winter Knight mantel doesn’t actually make Harry more impervious to injury, it just makes him feel the pain less!! Biting at the bars of my cage. Absolutely feral for it. Harry has to have other people look out for him right now because otherwise he will run himself into the ground. He CANT take care of himself well right now. He literally can’t process all the damage he’s taking on. Jumping up and down for it. How much does Harry not even think he should receive care? He’s just a vessel. A tool to use.

Karrin is Harry’s bodyguard. My silly little dweebs.

I’ve read the scene 3 times. It’s beautiful. I want to eat it. I want to live in that beautiful moment.

Harry telling Michael all of his suffering and Michael just crying!! For Harry! So sad his friend is suffering!! And Harry!! Pig headed Harry!!! Just convinced he’s going to hell! He’s a monster!!

Also Harry: what? Creepy demon prison island isn’t a fun place for my friends to be? I don’t understand. I find it a perfectly delightful place to be. I do my morning jog in front of the prison cells of evil creatures that could destroy the world. Their murderous psychic thoughts reaching out to me as I run past is like a brisk cup of coffee.
