Currently reading Skin Game and they recently introduced Goodman Grey. (Quote is from wiki as I am listening to the audiobooks)

Book: ...unremarkable-looking man in his late thirties, of medium height, built as if had more muscle to him than it is readily apparent. His features are clean-cut, pleasant but not particularly handsome, he can pass for a resident just about anywhere in the western hemisphere and in chunks of the rest of the world. Dark-haired with a few threads of grey in it, his eyes, however, weren't human: golden-brown with flecks of bronze in them and a semimetallic sheen to them.

James Marsters: gives him a southern gentleman drawl.

My brain: I'm gonna ignore all of that and he is Benoit Blanc now.

Murphy: *skeptical look, but walks away*

Grey is totally the kind of guy to call his cat a criminal. Like it tries to escape the second the front door's open even the slightest bit and he just catches it and says he's gonna have to add attempted jailbreak to its charges. What it was charged with in the first place? Breaking and entering (he found it in the stairwell in the Monsters LLC building), petty theft (it dragged one of his slippers into the kitchen and napped in there), assault (scratched his leg for attention) and alleged manslaughter (there is a dead mouse in the kitchen). And once he's done enumerating that, he picks the cat up and coos at it like "who's my little criminal, yes you are"

Is it very gay to turn into a horse so your buddy can ride you to get faster through the city to save his daughter and then when you slip on some ice turn back into a human and shield him from the impact with your body? Just checking...

A mood/aestethic board for Goodman Grey because even though the Dresden Files has a handful of glaring problems, I still loved Skin Game & Grey easily became one of my new favorite characters for the sereies.
