It was quiet in the house.

Dazai had passed out with his head on Chuuya’s lap practically the moment they got home.

Chuuya didn’t try to wake him; he looked far too peaceful for that.

The ginger wasn’t wearing his gloves, he had taken them off because he knows Dazai prefers his bare hands in his hair.

Besides; when it wasn’t tangled, the brunette’s hair was actually quite soft.

“Chuuya,” Dazai mumbled in his sleep, the soft smile that had previously been on his lips falling away.

The shorter man leaned over his husband and pressed his lips to this husband’s forehead.

“It’s okay; I’m here,” he whispered softly.

This seemed to relax Dazai, and he nuzzled against his stomach as Chuuya sat back up.
