Skullmaster
The fiendish and tyrannical Skullmaster is an ancient and powerful warlock from the dawn of history. His cunning, savagery and relentless lust for power led to the destruction of his native Lemuria. He then destroyed Atlantis before ultimately being defeated by the mythical Mighty One.
Following his defeat, Skullmaster was imprisoned deep within the earth, guarded by the Lava Lord. Although it took him thousands of years to do so, Skullmaster ultimately conquered the Lava Lord and took control over the lord’s army of lava minions. Finally returning to the surface, Skullmaster found a strange, modern world and quickly resumed his campaign to conquer all of existence. His reemergence triggered the return of the Mighty One who this time took the form of a boy named Max.
Young Mighty Max would go on to battle Skullmaster and the villain’s various evil colleagues. Ultimately Mighty Max triumphed and the villainy of the Skullmaster was ended once and for all.
The wonderful Tim Curry provided the voice for Skullmaster with the villain first appearing int he debut episode of Mighty Max, airing on September 12th, 1993.
