Week 215, Day 1502.

I was meant to write a post a lot earlier this week, but my dad had a big heart attack on Monday and life has been a lot heavier and harder to handle ever since. He’s alive, which is the main thing, but he’s also far away (in Russia, which is currently in lockdown) and his prognosis isn’t great. What a major 180 on my last post, aye?

It has also been a really busy week and I have been away for most of it, which has actually been a major blessing in disguise, providing me with enough distractions to get out of my head, giving me an opportunity to feel like I can breathe again.

My thesis is a major anchor and is basically the only thing stopping me from dropping everything and flying to Russia, so I am just trying to channel whatever energy I have into getting it finished.

Hope y’all are having a better week than I am.
