i desperately want to know which bad movies you would remake

Okay so this list is largely memory based but I would hate to disappoint so I'll see what I can remember

1. The entire friday the 13th franchise

I have a lot of love for these movies actually but they simply aren't good. I genuinely believe I could make it into a compelling franchise about loss and inevitability using the fact that it's a dozen or so connected movies to it's advantage rather than just being money grabs every single time

2. April Fools Day (1986)

I won't get into too much detail because the twist genuinely makes this movie but I desperately want to see it through a contemporary lense with some tweaks in character writing and patching of plot holes

3. Final Destination

It's a fun movie but I think I could turn it into a real heartbreaker while keeping the majority of the plot itself intact

4. Hell House LLC

Maybe controversial to call it bad but I don't care this movie sucks so hard it's such a nothingburger of a movie it pisses me off. I think with major reworking especially of the ending it could be made into an actual horrifying and tragic story

5. My Bloody Valentine (1981)

This one is hard even for me to put on this list because it's an actual favourite of mine but it's got many huge unignorable flaws. Don't get me started on the 2009 remake with Jensen Ackles. I would want to keep a lot of the original tone of young adults working and living in a small mining town in Maritime Canada but it desperately needs more foreshadowing and depth to the tragedy that sets up the whole premise of the movie.

That's all I've got for now as I've not even eaten breakfast yet but if I remember more I will add them to this post

could you reccomend a few power metal tracks for a guy who wants to listen to more songs with insane guitar solos?

this took forever bc i was going thru my music library double checking if various metal songs i know are bangers technically "count" as power metal or contain insane guitar solos. here's some stuff that nevertheless fits the brief IE it's big cheesy and has some fun shredding in it:

Visigoth- Warrior Queen (actual self-proclaimed contemporary power metal, i like their stuff in general but this one's my favorite)

Blind Guardian- Valhalla (maybe the most well-known power metal act i can think of so this one might not even be anything new, this song is just great bc it deadass has a lyric that's like "I'M THE WIZARD")
