Before and after: fox cub skull edition

The poor thing was roadkill :( Most of the skull is pretty much okay, but one side of the head was smashed and some pieces were lost or shattered into a million smaller pieces. One day I will get beetles to clean these fragile things for me so I won't have to glue every skuzzle myself, though they're fun to do if the skull is undamaged and complete

Finally out of degreasing and this guy is definitely going to need some time in peroxide

Otherwise he looks good so far and seems like all of the parts are there for when it’s time to rebuild it.

after a little more than a year, i'm finally putting milo the ra.cc.oon back together! for those of you who don't know, milo's head was pretty smashed up when i picked him up. putting destroyed skulls back together is very time consuming and requires a lot of patience, but i forgot how much i enjoy it! i think i'm missing some pieces for the side of his face, but i'm not sure how, because he's been in the same jar since i put him in there fresh.
