( @skxteboarder ; Reki ) “Langa.” Reki sounds serious. More serious than he ever has in his whole life.
“Do you… like twinks more than muscular guys?”
|| @skxteboarder (((I’m sorry)))
Reki called his name, and Langa was instantly concerned about his friend’s tone. It sounded like something serious... He looked over at Reki, putting down his pencil and mentally shoving aside the studying that they had been doing. Math final? Not today.
Was Reki alright? Did he need help? Was it something important? Did he-
Huh? Twinks or... muscular guys...
Well FUCK that was important!
Langa paused to think, leaning back in his chair in thought as he crossed his arms, scowling down at his desk as he contemplated this extremely important question.
Cute. Normally a little more feminine. Fun sized. Nice for carrying bridal style. Generally they had a good sense of humor and a friendly smile. He’d known a few twinks in his time....
On the other hand: muscular guys.
Strong. Dependable. Could kick your ass if you asked them too and you were into it, of course. Abs for days, calves for weeks, and biceps for months.... Yep, Langa had also known a few beefy dudes in his time...
But still... Reki’s question was on his preference, not his thoughts on them individually. So, if he had to pick between the two, what would he pick?
Langa leaned forwards, placing his elbows on the desk as his head fell into his hands so he could concentrate more.
Maybe he was coming at this from the wrong angle, maybe he needed to assess what he generally liked in a guy first and work backwards from there.
Alright, alright, good plan. Yeah yeah yeah.
Langa leaned back in his chair again, letting his head fall back so he could stare up at the ceiling, face tight in concentration.
What Langa liked... well... he liked dependability - someone he could trust to have his best interest in mind when he was and wasn’t there. A sense of humor was a plus. Someone who inspired him, brought new things into his life, filled every moment with excitement. A good listener, both to verbal and visual cues. The type of person that lit up a room when they entered and made Langa’s chest tight and his toes squirm. Someone like... like... like...
Langa’s head slowly fell to the side and his gaze landed on Reki.
Blue collided with amber as Langa’s world froze. There was Reki... funny.. dependable.. inspirational.. exciting.. patient.. illuminating... just--
He took a steady inhale, held it, and slowly let the breath out. A light pink blush rose to Langa’s cheeks.
Langa’s mouth was probably hanging open an little and he had definitely been staring for an uncomfortably long time. Embarrassed, and turning more pink, he quickly sat back up and picked up his pencil, hovering over his previously forgotten studying.
“Um... both are-- alright.” To Langa, twinks or baras were two irrelevant answers in a test he wasn’t planning on taking.
He swallowed the lump in his throat and circled the answer to the question he had been working on.
