This ask has been in my inbox for 3 WHOLE MONTHS because I had an Artistic Vision™️ that turned into a bigger project than expected, realized what I’d done, got scared and procrastinated the hell out of it, cursed myself for falling into this trap yet again, redrew and reorganized and rewrote it several times, then finally just ripped off the bandaid and finished 3 pages in like 2 days. Oops
The idea that sparked this whole Artistic Vision™️ came from some themes of the realm that I’ve found fascinating for a long time. Sky devs have said before that Valley represents civilization at its “peak” and was inspired in part by the Renaissance period. In addition, the Elder designs were each themed around a single word: Creativity for Forest, Protection for Wasteland, etc. And for Valley, that word is simply “excellence.” These themes reminded me of the concept of a Renaissance man, or someone who took advantage of that period’s artistic and scientific advancements to maximize their potential in all areas. Valley is home to all kinds of art, technology, music, athletics, and more, and I like to think that in the process of figuring out their identity (ies), Samekh would try it all. I see them constantly trying new things, constantly competing to be the best at those things, and getting frustrated when they still feel like something is missing. It’s something they’d always struggle with, I think, but they’d find balance eventually. Mostly.
I also like the idea that each of the Elders came along as a response to some collective need in society, using their various specialties to help people advance through the ages. Samekh are obviously different in a way that would stand out, and since that comes with a disability, I think they’d struggle to figure out why they are the way they are. And to some extent, I think the answer is “they just are,” but I also think they’d find meaning in having each other to compete against. They motivate each other to improve themselves and their realm. They never settle for less than excellence.
The downside to this, of course, is that infinitely “maximizing potential” on a society-wide scale is very unsustainable. But that’s a topic for another time LMAO
So that’s how this ask about childhood turned into a story of growing up which then turned into “how the fuck do I convey all these headcanons in a drawing”. And then I did a bunch of drawings. I’m sorry I went a little insane with it, I’d say it won’t happen again but like…It might

A/N: I've been itching all over to actually do the Skyce headcanons but every time I get lost in giggling and kicking my feet like crazy so instead of actually doing it I sit down to doodle them. I have like 4 other asks asking for Skyce headcanons and @acedragontype asked me also, so let's actually do it this time. When Viktor first sneaks Sky into the Academy there is a period of time where Jayce disapproves of her involvement, especially because he thinks she is giving him the cold shoulder. Sky's first impression of Jayce is that he is a genius, although quite eclectic. That rubs her wrong. Mix that with the fact she is shyer than Viktor and these two get off on the wrong foot purely due to a misunderstanding.
The idea to incorporate plants as test subjects was Sky's. She spends about thirty minutes rambling about the ways the boys could use a certain strain of carnivorous plants, which forces Jayce to realise he had been a fool for ever doubting Viktor's judgement in hiring her as opposed to any of the Piltover pupils. When Jayce sides with her and convinces Viktor, their relationship becomes better.
Jayce helps in the botanic garden when the forge is too suffocating. It's a big and bright space and he can still use his physical strength to think and tire himself out so he likes it. Sky ignores that he prefers to do that job in the same way he does his forgery work - half-naked. She also ignores that it makes her heart flutter, constantly trying to remind herself that getting involved with the big boss is not good for anyone's resume, but he makes it VERY difficult on her.
They are quite oblivious to how close they are becoming because each of them thinks they have a crush on a different person.
Sometimes their age difference shows up in unexpected ways even though she's just two years younger than him. She'd make a trendy reference and he'd look at her dumb while holding his chin in faux thought (he has no idea what she just said. He's too much of a nerd to know anything 'trendy').
Ximena Talis LOVES Sky Young because she learns every dish Ximena teaches her and she is full of warmth and enthusiasm. She notices they have a level of chemistry but doesn't really say anything. They move in sync and they don't even notice, so Ximena thinks that if it's meant to work it will. They are both good cooks.
At some point, Sky begins spending more time with Jayce than Viktor simply because his schedule is fuller.
Both of them are cinephiles. Sky is certainly more pretentious than Jayce. He loves to watch all sorts of movies, and she has a more 'refined' taste. When their crushes didn't pan out they kind of thought they'd go through it together so they sat down to watch the Piltover equivalent of 'Mean Girls' (Sky had never watched it), but she was so sad she fell asleep on his shoulder. Jayce picked her up, carried her to his bed and slept on the couch (he too begins to ignore how much it makes his heart flutter in almost a childish way).
They are also very competitive at board games and Twister. Viktor and Mel usually tap out but these two will go on until their muscles are sore. Sky has better flexibility, Jayce is bigger so he takes up more space. She does cheat. She'd blow air into his ear or jokingly whisper something sexual into his ear to win. He never says anything because he's too busy blushing (she doesn't realise it has an effect on him)
She is almost like a shadow in public. It didn't bother him, but when he realised he likes her close to him he starts looking for her and gets frustrated and grumpy when he can't find her.
She finds his tick of rubbing his neck quite attractive, he finds her pushing up her glasses cute.
Despite looking very sweet, they bicker a lot over things that definitely don't matter cause they find it makes them run hot (especially before they ever make any romantic moves).
The one time he took her to a gala with him (Mel and Viktor did not have the time) she spent her entire time promoting the Hexpartners project. It was also the time they almost kissed but Jayce recognized he was too drunk and he was far too upright to take advantage of drunk Sky even though she consented. He takes her home while she giggles and tells him about how much she likes how he does different things and proceeds to list the most minuscule details about his behaviour.
They have been in the opposite situation as well. He has been drunk murmuring sweet nothings into her ear. She tosses it off to him probably mistaking her for Mel. (do you notice a pattern with these two?)
By the time they kiss, they're like kettles about to explode. Their first kiss happened at Jayce's apartment, during one of their weekend evenings. He wanted to show her the prototype of a vase for the flowers they use that could essentially water itself using Hextech. 'To make your life easier, you know. You already don't sleep enough.' he'd say and proceed to explain in detail how it works. She'd be so moved over the fact he thought about her, it would be an instinctive action, more of a peck and she immediately tries to apologise but it's difficult to apologise when a man the size of a mountain is kissing your apologies away. He basically crushes her into his arms upon the realisation kissing Sky Young is no longer off-limits.
There is no little spoon in their relationship because Sky sleeps on top of Jayce.

Here’s the story I base this version of Tsadi off of!
Golden Boroughs, what will become the Wasteland, is a ringed city similar to Ba Sing Se in which it is directly under Lamed, the Vault Elder’s, and King Resh’s control. When Resh goes dormant, getting power-hungry and prior to the events of the Two Embers. After the events of Quest 3, a leader is selected of the King’s Soldiers by Lamed, who is now de facto leader of the Kingdom as Resh plummets to madness from the darkness over takes them.
Tsadi, an accomplished soldier, now tasked with the protection of the Golden Boroughs, is promoted to Elder status and given a staff and shield able to hold the light that other Elders have grown to have a connection to (Daleth with the staff, Ayin with the Big Pot, Teth with Da Hammer, Sah and Mehk with their champions’ sticks, and Lamed with the master memory crystal).
This proud soldier follows the directions of Lamed to a fault, believing them to be the most knowledgeable, the most flawless. Tsadi watches as the Kingdom of Sky falls as they try and save as many as they can, ultimately losing all of the denizens of the Boroughs. This leads to the Shattering where they all #die and Tsadi wakes up next to see the new race, a race that maybe they can now protect. A random Sky kid* gives Tsadi a crystal that’s maybe a little too small for them, with an itty bitty app called Tumblr…

(This, aside from the previous name of GW is genuinely my headcanon of what happened, thanks to the considerable lack of Tsadi in TEP1, though I think Scarred Sentry being Tsadi would be DEVASTATING, so sure we can incorporate that into the belief system.)
Due to the fact that Sky killed Demise, it would mean that he'd become a god. You know how the saying goes? "You kill a god, you become one." So here's what Sky would be the god of.
First off, starting strong, he'd be the god of the sky, I mean, it's in the name. His main Domain and where he thrives would logically be within the skies.
He'd also be the god of clouds and other things that reside in the sky (bird included but I'll speak of that in more details later). He can control the clouds and make them move, part, evaporate and become one.
Sky'd be the god of thunder and lightning, as well as storms. He can summon lightin/thunder, he can also summon any type of storms, etc.
Sky would be the god of birds and I totally headcanon him having the Loftwing as his sacred animal and him having wings, like, maybe dove wings or smth. (He totally has preening sessions with Sun(Zelda)). Sky can speak to any bird, they'll have hour long conversations which the Chain have learned to ignore.
Sky would also be a minor god of creation because he forged the Master Sword, although it's nothing big, he can summon things like a teapot, a cup, etc.
He's also a god of the wind, he can use it, as in manipulate it and summon it. He can bend it to his will, etc.
He is so the god of hope and perseverance. Must I elaborate?
Sky is the god of heroes, he's literally their predecessor-
He is the god of light and purity.
He is the god of prophecies.
Sky's the god of wood carving, if you know, you know.
Sky is also the god of sleep, I headcanon him having some type of problem which causes him to sleep often but I think I'd be fun if he could help you rest and get good dreams. (I doubt the, Narcolepsy)

The night mantas in the Vault are ghosts of regular mantas, whose bones are entombed in the Vault of Knowledge.
The proof: the little pile of bones that, when a manta call is done, summons a little spirit manta. Those are its bones. The giant bones floating in the Vault belong to the multi-winged manta that carries the lanterns. The Vault is not a library, it's a tomb.
This is also evidenced by Praying Acolyte. She is praying to tombstones of other spirits. The last tombstone, where she doesn't appear and we have to collect that little light? That is her tombstone, it's why she isn't there to pray. We pray at her tomb at the end.
if an oc is from a particular season and has a staff, it's more likely for that staff to have the symbol of the season on that staff
for example, my oc soloas is from season of aurora and has a staff. his staff might look something like this (more details below the cut)
i think that ocs from shattering or rhythm might have their symbols inside of the top. a shattering staff might have some wear/damage to it, and it'd would be more worn if born earlier in shattering because they had to endure more shards.
for prophecy or enchantment, the head would resemble the season symbol (here's an example of my take on a prophecy staff)
tho for enchantment, that staff might have some fabric accents in the color scheme of enchantment decor
