Skyfall Princess!
I’ve decided that humans are much less present in Skyfall and the Twolegplace from the books is actually an abandoned town! Primrose and Rusty live with their mother in the ruins at the start. Similarly to Barley’s canonical upbringing, they live adjacent to BloodClan (The Bloodclaw Alliance). Rusty decides that he would rather live in the woods in a group, raised on stories of their legendary honor. Primrose joins the Thunderhearts much later. Nutmeg has passed away and Cloud is Primrose’s only surviving kitten. He is sickly, though, and needs care. Primrose used everything she knew of, but she knew she needed help. She sought out her brother and was brought back to the Thunderhearts, where Yellowfang and a recovering Cinder help Cloud return to health. Primrose decides to stay afterwards and eventually trains as the Shire Priest under Owlsong, wanting to provide support to those in need. She keeps her birth name and does not take a new shire one.
