Something I love about this episode is Marcille beat Laios at his own game; monsters.

Laios got so caught up in the autistic thrill of making a monster he lost sight of what was important: Being able to stand up to the griffin.

No matter how cool or how many spikes he put on it, it was never going to hold its own against the griffin; it was way too small and weak and no amount of points or a killer look in its eye was gonna change that. He'd just waste their last familiar and Senshi would be doomed.

Meanwhile Marcille realized she only needed something that could out-fly the griffin, so she created Skyfish in order to have aerial superiority. She knew what to prioritize and capitalized on them beautifully, even grounding the griffin with Skyfish's amazing speed.

Save your judgement Laios, Marcille did good today.

Finished The Aurelian Cycle yesterday and decided to draw the main three dragon breeds based on vibes (as in: I didn't double check their descriptions in the books, but that's roughly how I imagined them).
