I got up and it was raining. I went out and got my rabbit then threw her onto my bed, before going out the front to my Nan’s car. At this point it was not raining anymore. I got in and Ben Platt and Skylar Austin were in the backseats and JoJo (Levesque, not Siwa) was in the front seat and she’s as small as me. We decided to go to McDonald's but before we got to order, I got called a fraud(?) in the drive through and then I woke up.

Crazy Ex Girlfriend Season 4, the last season

Theme- Meet Rebecca! Sort of a recap,that changed every episode in even weirder meta ways 

Honestly I hated it at first but it grew on me. 

I kind of started looking forward to what dumb thing other Rebecca would say

Not the best, but not the worst theme. moving on!

1) Don’t be a Lawyer One of the best damn songs of the series

Stand back and listen to my tale of woe. This song is so upbeat, fun and informative! I love the bel biv devoe bright suits and the high energy dancing. The rhymes and references are on point, and topical. There are so many other professions that doesn't turn you into Jeff Sessions. Then they took it over the top with the guy giving a disclaimer deciding to jump out a window.

2) Anti-depressants Are So Not a Big Deal

So I did not love the song my diagnosis. over time it has gotten better for me but never got into it the way I did for Anti-Depressants. I love the colors, the dancing,the tap, the jokes, the lala land references.  Its so smart and quick witted.I especially love the live version from the final episode

3) I hate everything but you

Great song. It really showcases Skylar’s skills. . You can feel his intensity when he glares at those blueberries and talks about more things he hates. Don’t get him in a room with banana bunches. he will rip them apart!

It is so greg that he has a guitar but can’t actually play it (I’m sure he could if he wanted too.”) look at the disgust on his face when people stop and smell the flowers. you do that and then your face is full of pollen. NEXT! I need more examples

4)  I'm not sad you're sad

So this was originally much lower on this list until the season finale of the magicians, every episode of Jane the Virgin this season and some unfortunate personal stuff. So I keep coming back to this song and screaming the refrain in between tears. I love the whole bathroom scene. its perfection.

5) Love’s Not a Game

whats better then David Hull finally getting to sing? David Hull singing a guys and Dolls type song. Its a great group number, where everyone gets to shine. Shout out to Father Brah, who just spoke to Jesus (who says its cool). The detail is exceptional. they actually have a death pool. Poor Josh is probably going to die in a lot of repair related accidents

or parasailing accident. he should avoid that.

6) no one else is singing my song

whenever you feel alone, and think no one can relate to you, just know you are not alone. Great number, nice harmonies, great ensemble.

7)Hello, Nice to meet you

Its a sweet song about starting over, in various meet cute situations. Their history is so complicated, and they have grown so much in the last 2 years. It was adorable and sad.

8) Trapped In A Car With Someone You Don't Want To Be Trapped In A Car With

So anyone who has been in a long car ride with someone who is super annoying can relate to this. You can love your friends, but you don’t always get along with them.love the beach boys homage.

9) the darkness

Its a love song about the highs and lows of depression For Rebecca, the depression is personified into a person. “His love for me is pure...He’s handsome for a metaphor And his name is … Tyler“

10) Slow motion + Reprise 

Slay! Whenever you walk into a room and feel like a bad ass, don’t lie, you imagine yourself in slow motion.The song is funny, catchy and there’s a reprise!

11!)  Eleven O’Clock

Kinda had to add this song. its a nice call back to a lot of the songs from the show. It does a great job illustrating how much Rebecca has grown and changed by working on herself and her own mental health.

Best worst: our group mind has decided you’re in love

Everyone ships White Josh and Darryl except the actual couple. Solid dancing pretty good parody or Oklahoma. We all like the reprise better (love is not a game.)
