So doing something a bit different, decided to pick a single couple and say their couple song and sort of give to some background of the song (if I know any) along with why I headcanon it as their song.
I’ll also undercut it so that it’s not annoying. :)

Moonlight (A Vampire’s Dream) - Stevie Nicks
So one of my favorite Stevie Nicks song, Stevie first started writing this song around the 1970s but only finished it after watching New Moon of the Twilight series.
Why this song? Well just listen to the words. It’s such a sweet song, I found it hard not to fall in love with it. As we know Vilkas is a werewolf and my OC Eliza is a vampire, an interesting pair. Eliza has been alive for a very long time and for the most part is a very solitary person. It’s not that she doesn’t talk to people, she does, it’s just that it’s hard to really know her. She doesn’t get close to people. That’s where this stanza fits in:
She’s lonely, lost
She’s disconnected
She finds no comfort
In her surroundings
Beautiful, insecure
She has nothing
She moves from situation to situation
Like a ghost
Then she sees him
A candle burning
The fact that this stanza fits her so well is actually pretty funny since I made Eliza before knowing the song. It actually came out the same year as Skyrim, I accidentally discovered it a few years after it’s release when I was going through my mother’s playlist and saw it. Curious I played it and it was love at first listen.
The beginning of the song is also perfect for Eliza since she lived in the mountains for a century before going to Skryim and joining both the College and the Companions. So it’s sort of a pleasant coincidence.
As for part of the main chorus:

Ooh it’s so strange
He slows down
He’s so desperate to stop her
it can be as either Vilkas of Eliza. In Skyrim I don’t really know if vampires have super speed, but I would think that mist form would sort of qualify it. I sort of switch it up each time I hear it. It depends on the situation, Eliza does love Vilkas, but at the same time she doesn’t want to because she doesn’t know if she can find a cure for her condition, she also doesn’t want him to know despite the fact that she already knows that he is a werewolf.
Which ties into the song when Stevie sings:
Strange
She knows too much to walk away
Strange
She couldn’t do it anyway
I typically sort of see it as maybe something more emotional than physical, like Eliza is trying to not only find a cure but defeat Harkon, a powerful vampire, along with the man, who’s name is current unknown, who turned her into the creature she is now. Vilkas is trying to keep up with her way, trying to stop her from doing anything rash and Eliza finds herself torn.
Overall this song is amazing and I will never get sick of it. This is one of my favorite OC couples since they’ve been with me for a very long time and they, in my head, seem to work very well together. :)
