I'm finally starting to feel human again.
I started a biologic on September 22nd, this is a medication to stop the immune system from working.
On October 9th, i started an insulin pump for the first time.
On October 10th I developed an extremely bad case of shingles.
On October 11th I developed cold symptoms.
By October 14th i had the worst cold I've ever had that turned into a very bad sinus infection, ear infection, and chest cold.
I've been feeling like death for a few weeks. Also taking care of sick family members.
I took down a lot of nudes because while some of you cared. A lot just kept sending messages wanting to sext. I don't enjoying sexting on a good day. Much less when I'm super sick. And those rude ones often got ruder when I did not feel like playing their games.
I'm starting to feel better. And hope to be more active. I missed all you good ones.
I wish the observation "I haven't needed to take my cane out with me for a while, prolly because my skyrizi for Crohn's is easing the arthritis in my knees" was seen as a neutral statement and not a cause for going "hooray! Good for you!" by my (mostly) abled family
Whenever I see those Rinvoq or Skyrizi ads on YouTube & they start mentioning T.B., my dumb IwtV-pilled brain goes:
i can connect literally ANYTHING to this show
I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY STUCK TWO NEEDLES INTO MY BODY AND INJECTED MYSELF WITH MEDICINE, I AM UNTO A GOD!
...but seriously i was concerned about the needles and it went really well.
Someone explain to me why Medicaid/ Maryland Physicians Care is denying me–a diagnosed Crohn's patient since the age of 9 that has always had a hard time getting it controlled in the twenty- one years since and it has progressed to the point where I'm a High Cancer Risk and have to do scopes every year now–skyrizi coverage as "medically unnecessary"?
High up on that Crohn's disease swag, call me sky rizz-y
Aaah I totally flaked on the fact I'm gettin an infusion today and wore long sleeves and no undershirt 😱
