There was a lot to see in New Mauville and there was no way that Wallace was going to explore it all on his own. That was the sole reason that he’d shown up outside of Winona’s gym, hands on his hips and a slight smirk on his lips. She was the perfect candidate for going out and having some fun, since she seemed to never take a break ... Less than Steven did anyways, even if that wasn’t hard to do. He raises a hand to around his mouth to call out,

“Yoo-hoo! Winona, dear! Can you come out here for a moment?” Thankfully he knew how to make his voice carry, so it shouldn’t get away from him even in such a windy place.

The ginger lass cringed and spat out a curl or two that had managed to get into her mouth after the show that her Mandibuzz had put on for Winona . “Aye, we get it, Una, tha’s enough lass…” She shook her head and shrugged her shoulders abruptly. “She’s such a show awf.” (Much like her trainer.) Merida knew that her flying/dark type Pokemon would love meeting the flying type extraordinaire. But, that was how durable the Pokemon’s Gust was. “Whit dae ye think of her, though? Strong, right? We’ve been training fer weeks for coming up an’ impressing ye.”

Yes indeed - Wallace was on his way home from a recent contest when he - Quite suddenly and rather inevitably - Ran straight into Winona from atop a Swanna. Whoops!!! Luckily for the two of them, their fall is broken by a thick tuft of trees and grass, though the unamused honking from the Swanna is enough to make Wallace fret.

“Oh! Oh mon dieu, I am so sorry! I did not see you flying up there!”
