Its always really funny when you’re fighting a bunch of enemies in swtor, who are capable of flight, who then die because you knocked them off the platform you’re standing on. Yes, I’m looking at you, Skytroopers.

[image: a series of screencaps from SWTOR. the setting is the dark and dingy zakuulan swamp, with a scattering of trees around a clearing covered in moss or grass. We see Senya, a middle aged woman in white armor, zooming through the forest on a personal speeder, and then a group of at least 7 skytroopers shooting at her. Senya backflips off the speeder, and it crashes into the skytroopers who try to scramble out of the way but fail, and the speder explodes in a fireball, killing them. Senya finally lands on the ground and activates her lightsaber. end image]

Ok so I’ve noticed something for a while now, ever since I first ran through KotFE, and it’s something that I’ve actually seen before in Warframe. So like a year or two ago, there was a bug where if you played Hydroid and made him go into puddle mode, he would instead shrink into a tiny Hydroid in the middle of the puddle and all the loot would be attracted here. They have since fixed this, but I think its a similar principle to the thing I noticed when fighting Skytroopers in SWTOR.
Now I’m sure this has something to do with the loot being attracted to a sort of coded, hook placed in the center of the hit box. So if the character in question changes shape, the hook stays as the place where the loot or whatever goes.
So what happens when you destroy a Skytrooper droid and it explodes?
Answer: Tiny Man.
The droid explodes into pieces and if loot drops, it is attached to an otherwise invisible tiny man in the pose of the droid before it popped.
It never fails to make me giggle.
