starscream’s voice was so beautifully cruel, before the war. Smooth and light, the faintest hint of what it would become lurking at the edges when he talked too much with no time for a pause. It was my favorite noise in the world. I wanted to listen to him forever.

I remember briefly where Senator Shockwave was my assigned carrier for a week. When it came to cleaning my plating I always gave a big fuss about it, it'd annoy the life out of him whenever I hid from him or tried avoiding him spotting me in general.
It was sort treated as what humans call "hide and seek". I'd always try and warp away from him whenever he caught me. When he did he scold me about getting a rust infection in my joints or how important it was to keep the plating on my wings clean and I'd pout the whole time. Looking back on it, cleaning my wing plating was always such a hassle. Even now, it's difficult. I think I gave other carriers such a trouble with cleaning the muck and dust off of me. It's why Senator Shockwave always seemed to have me longer than any other assigned carrier at the time.
