dunno what kind of car liking audience is here but fuck it i want to talk about my car
bought this little dude off craigslist for a grand it was the best money ive ever spent. didnt really know anything about saturn before buying this (or how to drive stick lol) but when i saw this ugly/cute brown blobs listing i knew it was the one. it had 344k miles on it then but that didnt turn me off, i had to have it. brought it home on a trailer and its been lovely, dependable to a fault and fun to drive to boot. it just hit 360k and is going strong as ever.

its been quite the learning experience too, in addition to it being my first car it saw me go from someone who liked cars but didnt know how they worked to a full time mechanic partly on the skills i gained replacing the odd part here and there on it.
im just so happy with it. if i suddenly got a ton of money i wouldnt replace it with anything, id just treat it to a full mechanical refresh and some new paint cause i love it so much. it is exactly the amount of car i want and need, no more no less.
its also been the catalyst for me and my bf to become basically saturn historians, as since the brand died almost a decade and a half ago knowledge on these things (and parts!) are becoming somewhat hard to find. we've also started collecting various saturn things like this lil fella who is now my second most prized possesion
