Once I had a conversation with someone who said that BruBabs and SladeTerra things are all the same and Slade in JC movie is better than Bruce in KJ movie `cause he didn`t use his younger partnet.

I think, that`s shit of oppinion.

In every piece of DC canon where you can see BruBabs as lovers, Barbara is an adult woman, who has her own place, her own career and her own relationship experiense. She knows what she`s doing than she starts things with Bruce. Moreover, she has family and friends, so she knows she can leave Bruce without any problems (yes, he is still older and more powerfull than her but thats obviouse that he won`t ever use his power against her).

Bruce has feelings for Barbara. He treats her as his friend and he respects her even in KJ movie. And he obviously treats her as friend in LegoBatman and Batman Beyond (their relationships were shitshow in comics but series made things pretty obvious).

Tara is 15-17 when Slade happens with her. She is teenager. She has no experience in romantic relationships. She has no family or friends who can support her when bad things happen and Slade makes her believe that no one will ever care about her exept him. In JC movie its said that he saved her life and they spend a year alone together so he has all the opportunities to convince her in everything he wanted. In DS Rebirth things are not that hard but Slade still manipulate Tara and use her feelings when she probably just doesn`t know any non-sexual ways to show her attachment (she doesn`t have normal childhood, after all).

Slade uses Tara for spying Titans. And he had never loved her.

BruBabs relationships are complicated and not totally healthy but they has nothing in common with Slade and Tara`s relationships.

(but tbh i`m really glad that both of them exist in DC Univerce)

(sometimes you need to see things go wrong to understand how to make them better)

Decided to draw my headcanon take on the scene where Slade puts the butterfly clip in Terra's hair. She's blushing and he's leaning in close. 😏

It was the first scene that made me ship them and all their mess.
