Omg I loved the newest chapter of Something like a star!!! The feels! But I want to know if Izuku's class is ever going to see him shut down? I'd love to see their reactions.

i can honestly say yes, they’ll see him shut down eventually, but not anytime soon. there are two other people who need to see it first

hi!! i just read something like a star and i wanted to tell u that it’s amazing!! i rly love the way aizawa and midoriya interact and the way that he is becoming a mentor too midoriya!! and he was so worried when the link went away! i also like the character development with midoriya where he’s learning his limits and he’s becoming more comfortable with his quirks and his friends! i loved everything tbh!! so thank u and have a nice day aha!! 💛

HEY! I'm here to yell at you about Something Like a Star, as per your request. Please yell back. (Btw I love the new update and how it was revealed; and that Izuku didn't believe it at first really makes it seen realistic, I wonder how you'll write the realization and how it'll sink in Izuku's head, and also how it'll affect him, trying to change his mindset from 'quirkless crybaby' to 'a quirk that affects his psyche and needs follow up' and will he be happy about it or

(2/ or hate it and we it as the cause of his suffering because it’s a quirk that doesn’t show itself and the only way it affected him is make him emotionally vunrable (crying so much) instead of help him (help him make friends and just help him undertand ppl in general) also I wanted to ask what do you have in mind in regards to the quirk and mentoring? The way I see it you don’t want to have a suddenly realized quirk take away from all the hard work Izuku has done and what he has gone through

you’re not wrong though, as of right now izuku is a bit high on life because he’s fifteen and excited about all the good things happening to him, but the realization is gonna sink in eventually that oh shit, maybe this is going to be harder than it seemed at first.

the empathy quirk is going to require as much work as OfA, and that’s going to be handled fairly well by a certain someone. empathy will be affected by OfA, but OfA won’t be affected by empathy, to answer that question. i would never dream of diminishing all might’s importance, or the importance of the amount of work izuku has to do to get as far as he does in canon

I laughed at the last part in chapter 3 of Like a Star because honestly I found it so amusing and it sounds like something Aizawa would do. Gods thank you for writing that fanfic
