Is it a new neighbourhood? Or part of one? Why "Slateville"? Curiouser, and curiouser.
Slateville is a new town I'm working on. Population: 0. It's more of a building 'hood at the moment, than a playing 'hood... Although I'm hoping I'll eventually add some Sims. It's kind of a shopping district, but is it's own 'hood rather than a sub-hood of another neighbourhood. I am currently working on adding all the community lots and stores (it's a rather posh town, so yes, it has a flower store) and then I will add some residential lots once I'm happy with them (I don't tend to build many community lots, you see.)
Why Slateville? Because the towns buildings (so far, and for the foreseeable future) are made of grey bricks... and since I couldn't think of another grey rock, I chose slate (I know it's more for roofs rather bricks, but hey, my town my rules.) I was also thinking that the town's families would have stone/rock themed surnames.
