today I found out that my 61-year-old creative writing teacher knows Supernatural. i told him that i prefer dean over sam cus i relate to him more and this absolute icon looks at me and says, and I quote

"I'm a Dean Girl, too".

to clarify, this is a straight white male in his sixties with a wife and adult children.
