Slayers (2022) is like Zombieland 1 & 2… but in a vampire version! It’s not as good as both, in my opinion. The characters are less funny! However, Thomas Jane would be the equivalent of Woody Harrelson. He is absolutely perfect in this role. That makes me very happy, because he got lost in a lot of bad movies. i'm watching Slayers (2022) and this movie is both deeply stupid in a fun, campy way, and funny in a stupid, cringey way. All of the main characters--save the lesbian gamer and the old dude vampire hunter--are so, so dumb, and might as well have laid down on the dinner table for the vamps wearing EAT ME signs
It's terrible. It's fantastic. Some of the scenes are hard to watch for sky-high second hand embarrassment levels and I almost stopped watching multiple times in the first half. The second half is a lot of fun and I'm really enjoying the final fight/rescue mission right now.
Plus, at an hour and a half runtime, it automatically ranks higher for me than any Marvel movie lmao

Enjoyment: 3/10. I watched it twice to give it a second chance but god it sucked. The only good thing is the gore but god that first girl that was killed hurt. It seems like they tried to make a really funy movie but it doesn't hit. It's just boring
Vampires: Kinda sick sometimes especially the woman but nothing new. I did love the vampire reversal, that and the fact they were going after influencers but it wasn't anything amazing. 6/10
