clark

he's a very cuddly guy. clark loves to wrap his arms round you and be close. he loves to be the big spoon just so he can hold you, but he’s not too fussed if you want to be the big spoon. he's always open to cuddles, he's very big on physical contact especially after a hard day (for either of you). if he comes home after a superman crisis he’ll be either be craving intense physical contact, cue the full body weight on top of you and face pressed into your skin, or need to sleep alone (which isn't often). like bruce i think if he’s tired enough he’ll just fall asleep on top of the covers, which annoyed you at first but you understood it after a few months together. 

roy

roy’s not a super clingy guy, but he will always somehow have contact with you. whether that's an arm round your waist, his face buried in the crook of your neck or your hair, his hands shoved up your shirt. he will always be touching you. he's a cuddler when he wants to be but he also just sprawls out when he’s asleep. it doesn’t matter what position roy fell asleep in, he will always end up star fishing across the entire bed. sometimes lian will wriggle between you guys and roy will happily hold you both, mumbling about his two favourite girls into your shoulder. 

wally

wally is super clingy like when he’s asleep next to you he's all over you. it’s impossible to escape his grip, its strong. wally will flop on top of you and refuse to move, nuzzling into the crook of you neck if you tell him to give you even a little bit of space. wally likes to listen to your work gossip when he can’t sleep, he crawls on top of you and buried his face into your stomach and lets you yap to him, your hands running through his hair. he's also terrible at waking up on time (perks of being a speedster) but that also means he'll get whiny about when you have to get up ‘early’ (a normal time). he'll cling to you and not let you go even when you tell him you have work. the only way he lets you go is if you smother him with kisses to distract him so his grip goes lax and you can escape. wally also has the worst bed head of all time. he looks like he’s run through a tornado.

Thought of sleepy new parent WIR-Verse Halloween Arc Drericka+Van Dracula twins one point and it was too cute/funny not to draw. Sleepy Gorgericka was a challenge though, figuring out how it works with them teefs.

Note: Kinda nice to see the contrast of Debbie locking Pubert up and calling him a little brat with Ericka gently cuddling her own baby in her arms.

BTW, the sparkly pumpkin is one of Drac's WIR-Verse pokemon: Martha, the shiny small-size Gourgeist, given to Drac by Mavis for Hannukah as a Pumpkaboo.

"I heard you talking in your sleep" +Raicouda

AYYY time to give the sharp boi some floof~…This one got a little long, the rest is under the readmore.  Context is pre-courtship ;3

“…I heard you talking in your sleep,” Raicouda murmured, reaching across the disoriented girl in his lap to adjust her makeshift covers.“Wha…?” Pinnavoche jumped slightly, squinting in the dim light as she tried to get her bearings.  

Across the chamber, she could just make out the huddled forms of the other Hybrids, splayed across chairs and ledges, swaddled refugee-style in their encampments.  The ever present sounds of mechanical humming echoed mutely through the walls, but it was little bother to exhausted group.  With the most immediate danger having passed, and still more trials of diplomacy awaiting them, no one was complaining about the Clan’s lackluster quarters for the night.  Pinna doubted anyone had even thought to keep watch.

Well, besides Raicouda. The male in question tried his best not to jostle her as he shifted his position and rolled his neck.

“I… what?” Pinna repeated dumbly, realizing with a start that she must have dozed off against him.

He slanted a look down at her.  “You were muttering things in your sleep,” he said, his voice clear and quiet.

Her joints felt heavy as Pinna tried to clamber up into sitting position.  She wracked her brain to try and resurrect whatever dream she’d been having.  “What… what was I talking about?” shedemanded, her voice still hazy.

Raicouda shook his head. “Couldn’t tell,” he grunted, reaching out a clawed hand to steady her.  His yellow gaze slid to the side, and even as tired as she was, Pinna could tell he was lying.She grimaced internally.  Of course her nightmares had probably featured that familiar, painful subject.  Still, she couldn’t help but spare a glance across the room, at the pair of doors she’d last seen the Betas disappear through. The action wasn’t lost on her companion.

“… You haven’t missed anything,” he assured her, for once breaching the subject without an ounce of jealousy in his voice.  In fact, his demeanor was almost soft as he placed a hesitant hand on her back.  “You gotta try and get moresleep…”

Inviting as the sentiment was, Pinna couldn’t stave off the wave of anxiety that had resurfaced with her awareness.  Scrambling again to disentangle herself, she felt a twinge of claustrophobia as she struggled against the fabrics tucked snugly around her shoulders, and the suffocating mask she’d left firmly tied across her face.  

Raicouda let out a faint whoosh of breath, and Pinna felt her face heat as she snatched back the hand she had braced against his stomach.

“Hey- hey,” he was surprisingly quick to respond, his own hand flattening against her back to try and corral her restlessness.  With the other, he reached over and deftly worked loose the knot of her scarf.  Pinna tossed her head to get it the rest of the way out of her face.

“Shhhh,” he hushed her then, frowning at the slight scent of panic that reached him.  His movements were slow and measured as he gently unwound the mask from the back ofher neck and placed it in her hand.

Pinna swallowed, trying to calm her pulse.  His yellow eyes watched hers with a look of concern, and even in the dim light, she could make out the dark circles beneath them.  Still hyper-aware of his hold on her, her gaze skated nervously down to the floor.

His eyes followed hers, as she noticed the barbed end of his tail, wedged beneath the corner of a nearby panel.

“… Just a precaution,” he explained bluntly, looking to alleviate her obvious confusion.

“Sorry...” she finally muttered, swinging her gaze back up to his.  “I- you should not have to- … I’m sorry,” she tried again, the tired ramblings spilling out of her mouth.  Raicounda only rolled his eyes as she halfheartedly tried to scoot back out of his personal bubble.

“Less apologies, more sleeping,” he fixed her with a dry look, tapping a finger on her back.

Ducking her head to hide the burning in her cheeks, Pinna hesitantly shuffled the blankets, trying to find a more dignified sleeping position.  After a minute or so of Raicouda watching her fruitless attempts, he gave an exasperated sigh, and pulled her back into his lap.

“Shhhh- it’s fine,” he silenced her worried objections as he adjusted his posture against the wall, trying to get comfortable.  Settling down, he pillowed the covers around her and firmly tucked her head back into his shoulder, like someone trying to rock a stubborn cub to sleep. 

“Get some rest,” he insisted in a low voice.

Depsite her embarrassment, it didn’t take long for the stiffness to leak out of Pinna’s frame, her drowsy mind appreciating the warmth, and the hypnotic rhythm of a heartbeat echoing somewhere beneath her cheek.  She felt rather than heard his relaxed exhale as she finally caved and snuggled into the new arrangement.

There was no more sleep-talking that night… but Pinna could almost swear she remembered the sound of purring. -

I got my new covid and flu shot a couple days ago, amd when I got home I was worse out so I started sketching this eepy bit inspires by one of @whumpster-dumpster 's dialogue prompts with Ericka konked out on Drac's chest after a long day and protective Drac having scared away one of the workers from waking her up.

Here's another bit of imagine-inspired Drericka sleep fluff with a pregnant Ericka lulling Drsc to sleep on her lap, accidentally trapping herself there and falling asleep there too. Some sleepy Gorgericka x Human Drac fluff this time with Gorgericka carrying Human Drac who FINALLY is smol enough to rest his head on her shoulder. I love the ship here, it's adorable that they love eachother despite their changes. Esoecially with Human Drac's Gomezification and Ericka being a gorgon, traditionally thought to he ugly.
