While treating some injuries sustained by Reagent 0917 during therapy today, it became clear to me that 0917 has substantial memory loss. She was unable to recall any details from her family life, or her experiences before becoming a patient. I am unsure if this is the result of brain damage sustained during her extended coma, or the effects of amnestics that Reagents are routinely exposed to. Is this a cause for concern? Please advise.

“At approximately 5:30 AM, a junior nurse discovered Reagent 0917 awake, lucid and mobile in the so-called ‘catatonic ward’ of Urgent Care. Reagent 0917 has been a resident of the catatonic ward since December of last year, when she became comatose following a near-fatal injury sustained during therapy. Considering the extent of her injuries, there was little expectation that she would ever awaken, especially not without any lasting neurological damage.

All of the appropriate tests have been run to determine the effect the extended coma has had on her brain, which is frankly none. Reagent 0917 is to be escorted back to Sleep Room #██ to resume therapy.

P.S.-- I feel I should apologize to Dr. Easterman for this incident happening on my watch. He was right next door to 0917, sitting at 2427’s bedside again. Apparently he was quite alarmed when she suddenly opened the curtain.”
