in the past three days ive gotten as much sleep as a normal person does in one night. all my happiness comes from bad puns and watching my dog sleep.

what is up, my goons? so today i was getting kind of bored of the typical brush calligraphy headers of tumblr, and wanted to experiment a little. for me, school is pretty stressful and one of the easiest things i do to combat this is zentangle (read: doodle). i decided to come up with a brush lettering/zentangle combo. i call it "zen lettering". if you have a better name lemme know though, im kinda tired XD. anticipate more (better) headers coming right up.

tag yourself- cities : langblr edition

new york city- knows languages just from hearing them around, picked up new words from street music, tries to learn five languages at once, gets excited to learn something new but is so busy that they frequently abandon their side projects

paris- is learning one or two slightly less common languages, gets deep into new cultures through their food, is always learning new ethnic recipes and fun facts, probably spends their free time expressing themselves creativity through painting or the like

tokyo- really appreciates the languages they know already and tries to expand on those, really focuses on vocabulary building, isn't judgemental, likes to try new products all the time, always on time, has obscure hobbies like bookbinding or candle-making

stockholm- picks up the grammar for language groups instead of languages, is most happy when they see connections between various languages, probably is learning or wants to learn a root language like latin, loves old architecture and sipping coffee in a cobblestone street in europe

milan- learns languages for the purpose of traveling, never shops at chains unless they're exclusive to a foreign country, is probably learning mandarin or another "practical" language, works hard and is going to get that promotion

math notes and whatever. but over the weekend i got a new magnet to add to my collection! and some new pens/pencils from this japanese pen shop because im a weeb.
