So I had this interesting thought. Going through some DDD and Xehanorts reports in KHBBS, I had this theory. What if the world tour that YX talks about in KH3 and the MoM mentioning it in ReMind. What if the Master put YX on a world tour in dream worlds in DDD as his world tour? Especially since Xehanort says that he will return to his own time and that might be the reason in the secret ending in DDD when the camera shows YX with amber eyes, he then realizes his purpose. Thoughts?

I think that’s totally possible! The one thing I would say is that Xehanort says the world tour is of “worlds written on in old fairy tales.” So, if Xehanort’s world tour was all the disney worlds of KHX (as they’re projections from the Book of Prophecies), and if Xehanort traveled via dream worlds, it would have to be at a point that all those worlds fell to darkness to the point where they would create a Sleeping World to begin with. At least, this is on the assumption that Destiny Islands and the Mysterious Tower only fell to darkness and got a Sleeping World because of KH1 when Heartless were stealing the hearts of worlds. But if that’s not the case, then it may be possible that worlds fall to darkness eventually nonetheless? But that’s conjecture haha.

Still, I’m willing to put a pin in this! I’m still not sure if Nomura is going to retcon YX’s childhood, by either making so he was younger on Destiny Islands with grey eyes (so essentially, Chess Xehanort lived on Destiny Islands and then went to Scala ad Caelum) or by doing something similar to what you said. He’s story was a little messy already, so for now I’ll definitely be open minded to various possibilities like yours.

A lot of the shit people criticise Kingdom Hearts for is done a lot worse in much more popular and beloved media, and the only reason people shit on KH for it is because people who hated the very concept of the series and never gave it a fair shot have caused it to be considered an acceptable target for bad faith criticism.

Could the position Riku and Sora have when waking up be affected by how far are they going into the Realm of Sleep?

What I mean is: Could it be that when they wake up from lying in the ground is because they’re diving into a deeper world, and when they stand still is because they’re going to a world closer to the real world?

Just like if the real world was in the last floor of a skyscraper and the realm of sleep worlds were distributed in several floors depending on how deep is their sleep.

I dont know if this makes sense at all LOL but I couldnt keep it to myself, i needed to tell you. Also, im from Spain so English is not my first language, sorry if there are some mistakes.

Hello! This could be a possibility, but I’m not all too sure only because IF Sora and Riku wake up standing throughout the Disney worlds in their exam from Dream Drop Distance, then I would think they would wake up lying down instead since they’re than likely diving deeper into the Realm of Sleep with each world, rather than getting closer to the real world. But still, because that section of the video is only a theory to begin with, I think your explanation of it is just as likely as mine!
