I saw someone say this in the tags of a post I made once, but it’s interesting how people apparently used to perceive will as a precious little cinnamon roll (you know the type) and how that’s changed over time. I mean, knowing 2015 tumblr I can imagine NBDBSBD I wonder if people still think that way? idk I can’t imagine watching the show in its entirety and walking away thinking will wasn’t completely corrupt by the end. bedelia literally says he’s become pathological? and he’s canonically manipulative, jealous, and is shown to enjoy (and yearn for) the hunt. his character is so much more interesting and layered if you interpret him that way imo, rather than the weird infantilisation that seems to happen to characters like him. anyway I think about those tags a lot
