I didn't mean to ignore questions people left in comments.  I looked back a bit and have tried to answer them here.

@MARkicksass - My three-lake route is 10 miles.

@sleeprunrepeat - As loungewear or for gardening, I have nothing against a Nike skirt but they should never be worn running.  Fact.

@actv4lyf - Perkulator Coffee Dopplebock was very good.  I had it only mildly chilled; I don't think it would be as good really cold.  One bottle was good; a second would've been good too but I don't think this would be a beer you'd want to drink a lot of at one time.

@shortmom - we didn't find soccer cleats that fit well at the first store so we went to a specialty store that only sold soccer gear.  It cost a little more but the owner of the store did such a good job finding just the right pair that I bought them on the spot.

@nowforthefunpart - You're correct: there sure was a gas station right across the street from where I had my flat tire the other day.  But I was so focused on using my micro pump (and planning the ensuing Tumblr post with all sorts of innuendo) that it never occurred to me to walk my bicycle across the street to fill up my tire.
