I've got about 10+ Slenderverse comics I'm developing, which means there's a wide range of proxies for each story.

In general, my proxies will be unassuming members of society. They've got jobs, families and friends, but they're also committing murder for a high-powered being. I'll also have proxies that are trapped to the woods -- too mangled and crooked to ever return to society. Maybe some of them can hide their features, but others are forced to hunt whatever traveler is foolish enough to wander into the woods.

Cast wise, most of these characters will be Black unless stated otherwise. I work with a lot of horror with extensive Black casts, and these projects are no different!

I'll post more as I go along, specifically completed character profiles.

This Slenderverse story is called "Weeding The Gardens", and I've finally finished the proxy designs. The human cast will be all female with various backgrounds and occupations.

Those who work under the Birch King are required to dress in black and white (just like him):

Mrs. Lana Calloway [Stay-at-Home Mother]

Ms. Jocelynn Coles [College Student]

Ms. Maria Lakes [College Student]

Mistress Isabella [???]

By contrast, the other brothers choose their proxies based on their occupations. The Tailor tends to have fashion designers and clothes makers, The Connoisseur prefers artisan bakers and butchers, and The Showman has actors and directors:

Proxies in this world aren't wandering hermits bound to the woods. The ghoul brothers believe it's better if their subjects are unassuming members of society. Stay-at-home mothers, the working class, celebrities, college students -- it's easier to get victims when you don't look like a blood-soaked maniac.

But there's still a contract. There are still ugly consequences for trying to escape or neglecting your duties. Their supposed freedom is a privilege given by the ghoul brothers -- it's not a right.

Another Slenderverse AU -- this time, I'm playing around with the Slender brothers.

Five ghouls have roamed this world, convincing humans to prey upon their fellow man.

The Deviant enabled the worst of humanity to commit the most heinous crimes. His cult had no limits, even targeting his brothers and their cults, and extended to every corner of the world.

But he could not control them.

The year is 1979 -- 1000 years since his last death -- and The Deviant was once again eaten alive by his cult. Now they roamed the earth unchecked, even willing to terrorize each other for a sick thrill.

If this carried on, there would be no humans left for the other brothers to terrorize -- and that just wouldn't do.

I'm still working on stuff for my newest versions of The Slenderman, so here's some work I did for The Engineer (around 2022).

Similarly to how Marble Hornets had The Operator, this is The Engineer. He's building towards something, though only few can understand what that is. 

Personality-wise, I wanted to make The Engineer...polite. At least, his tone is polite. He's definitely nicer compared to my other versions, but he's very much removed from humanity. He knows what his words and secrets can do to humans, but he also knows most humans that come to him come willingly. 

Whether they fell to madness or understood his words, every human who came to him came of their own free will. They may have been confused or scared at some points, but it was always their choice to either accept his world or stay in theirs.

The Engineer is building towards something, and he only takes those willing to see what it is.

The existence of The Deviant was always a Catch-22.

On one hand, he took humans the other brothers didn't want. Mindless maniacs and slaves to desire were of no use to the rest -- they were often too unpredictable, too reckless, and too meek to last long-term.

On the other hand, this provided The Deviant with an umbrella cult -- cannibals, torturers, butchers, and the like. There were times where the other brothers were considered "repetitive" and "obsolete", and it seemed the Deviant could easily replace them all.

Their only saving grace was that The Deviant was just as bad as his cults, which made him vulnerable whenever his humans decided to attack him -- which was often.

Happy New Year!

Kicking things off with a WIP. There's another Slenderman project I'm working on that's separate from my previous posts (where it's named The Engineer).

In this project, I refer to it as "The Operator". Toby's there too! Got facial hair and baggy eyes -- bro is going through it. This project will also introduce the concept of a hive connecting proxies and The Operator, as well as tree-like body horror and terrors.

I'll have more posts about the differences between the two projects!

I'm back with more Slenderverse stuff!

This is The Matriarch -- she's the second tallest of my slenderbeings, The Monarch being the tallest.

Her title is both royal and familial -- she governs her proxies and the beings of the surrounding forests. They have been shaped by her hand, remade into her image, and thus address her as "Mother". In return, she regards her subjects as "her children".

The Matriarch is powerful, but she is not all-knowing; hence, she is unaware that the world has changed beyond her reign. It's why her subjects still wear clothing and armor from the Middle Ages (despite it being the 1970s in the story's present).

This is intentional, in hopes of delaying her complete subjugation of the known world.

I'm slowly creating more content with her, but I hope you like it!
