What are your top 10 robron moments?

Sorry it’s taken a while to answer but it’s a tough question lol!!

These are in no particular order because when it comes to Robron I could watch anything and it would be a good scene even the bad ones are good if that makes sense and there are so many more that I love but these are the ones that spring to mind ;) there may be more than 10 sorry 💕

Upstairs now - there are others that I love but to this day that scene remains my favourite I think, it sums up their whole relationship (or it did, it’s moved on a lot since then) the hostility, the rawness, the physicality of it, the battle for dominance i love all of it, and for me it’s the moment that their affair really started, if Aaron hadn’t retaliated to Roberts comment in the toilet then they may not have slept together again (of course they would but ya know what I mean) and Ryan’s voice when he pulls away and breathlessly says ‘Right, upstairs now’ is still one of the hottest things I’ve ever heard.

ILY staircase scene - I’m gonna add in the “it’s not enough” scene here as its basically an extension of that. Robert finally admitting his feelings for Aaron, getting aaron to off load some of his guilt about Katie, he shouting “I love you” and the subsequent “I love ya and I can’t watch ya suffer” and then we got the staircase scene, which is just utter perfection, the way Robert leaned over he fave so close to Aarons as he told him he loved him, the way Aaron brings his bottom lip to his mouth smiling shyly as Robert says those three little words, and the fact that Aaron doesn’t say it again for me meant everything, it wasn’t Aarons fault Robert wasnt ready to hear it when Aaron said it.

First hotel - Aarons eyes in this scene kill me, this are so open and deep and blue when he look up at Robert, flitting from his eyes and down to his lips and the swallow before he breathes out “no” And Robert crawling across the bed in those little black boxers seducing not only aaron but us all, as he tells Aaron “looks like your just stuck with me then” and the way his nose squashes into Aarons cheek as he kissed him

The 'I told you I wanted you on your own’ scene - it’s just typical robron, the conversation starting off hostile until Aarons whole demeanour changes when he realises Robert has shrugged off the whites to be with him, and that kiss, the way Robert nudges his nose against Aarons to bring his face up his hands still in his pockets, damn those people in the corridor for interrupting!!

HF sofa scene - the nose boop!! Boyfriends just lounging around on the sofa, banter about food, Robert begging to take Aaron back to bed, Robert showing genuine concern for Aarons health, Aaron reassuring him he was find, when they are a couple I want a thousand more scenes like this, I need all the domesticated robron please!

Aarons reveal - I’m gonna tie in the scrapyard scene in here as well because again it’s just an extension of the whole thing. The way Robert called Aarons name after he found he note when he thought he wasn’t gonna lose him. The questioning him repeating his name over and over again and his scared/worried/panicked face his chin wobbling when he found the cut and dragged him to the car, the whole A&E scene when Aaron just leans against him. And Robert staying all night despite Aarons protest just to make sure he was okay. And then the reveal, first Robert admits that he couldn’t bear to lose Aaron “I still love ya that’s why” and he apologises for upsetting Aaron. The man apologies because he loves him that much he does want to upset him. And then Aaron, brave beautiful Aaron told me what had happened to him, so powerful, so emotive, I just wanted to wrap my arms around him and protect him!! And Robert stayed, he didn’t freak out apart form the “it’s okay it’s gonna be okay” the way his voice changed from soft to outraged when Aaron was thinking of leaving, the way he protected Aaron, never left his side, slept on the floor, promised to be their for him without pushing him, the “we” statement, that scene for me just reaffirmed how much these two character care for each other!

Aaron in the woods - although not the best scene as Aaron is hurt but the way he calls out to Robert under his breath and then Roberts corresponding “I’m not going anywhere” even in front of Chas, plus Chas realisation that even though she may not like him Robert obviously cares for Aaron. And then after Robert telling the paramedics what Aaron needs the worry in his voice is so betraying, and then he almost admits to Chas that he loves him, “care about him, I don’t just…” I think we all wanted him to say the words!

Robert getting Doug off Aarons back - yes they weren’t really on speaking terms but Robert really wanted to help Aaron out, it was subtle and it lasted about two seconds but Aaron giving Robert that nod behind the bar with that frown that looks like an inside down smile and Robert just gazes at him, his eyes never leaving him and he knows that he’s one step closer to winning him back.

The park scene (both parts) - Aaron so nervous about telling Robert how he feels, and even the interruption from liv can’t stop him as it thanks him and tells him he couldn’t have done it without him, Roberts reassurance to Aaron that he could, that he’s stronger than he thinks, the way Robert is looking at Aaron on the park bench, seriously heart eyes Sugden, and how he so gently rejected him, not because he wants to but because out of respect for Aaron he feels he has to. And the the scene by the lake, Aaron is probably thinking he will alone forever when Robert walked up to him in the dark, and skulks off not wanting to hear Roberts excuses but Robert just blurts out his feelings, he wants Aaron and he always will! That moment for me was everything, Aaron needed to know that what happened to him hadn’t changed the way Robert saw him physically.

And last but by no means least

I believe in you - this scene for me showed how much Robert, despite Aarons constant pushing, has been supporting Aaron, how much he knows Aaron “this is me” how comfortable Aaron is opening up to Robert, the fact that Robert could make in laugh, reassure him that people are on his side and if not that he believes in him and for Aaron that’s enough. That half smile he gave after he realised he made Aaron smiled killed me, and then without hesitation from either of them he said “come here” like it was the most natural thing in the world and just held him, beautiful.

Special mention (yes I’m cheating) for the second hotel visit, it will never be my fave scene because of Aarons guilt/worry of getting caught but the way Robert kissing him when he’s lounging in the bed and the “Aaron Aaron that is the ugliest tie” is hot, I mean Aaron in a suit is a wonder in itself but to have Robert pull that tie off him was just…..damn!

I’m gonna add in two bonus Robert scenes because I’m greedy!!

“he’s everything” Ryan showed so much emotion in that one scene, his subtle facial expressions kill me, the blink, the clenching of his jaw, a raised eyebrow, the tears glistening in his eyes when he says the words! Ryan Hawley is amazing!!

Boyfriend hospital moment - although the not a total Robron moment it was just Robert was so nervous about using the word, but when he said it it was like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders and he knew that the world hadn’t ended because he admitted what he wanted Aaron to be, also we got to see Aaron looking much perkier in the hospital bed moments later with his hair all fluffy!!

And of course the thing that set it all off 4th Dec 2014 a day we will never forget. The first kiss. And what a kiss. The way Roberts hands held Aarons face, how Aarons hands bundled in the front of Roberts jacket, how Roberts eyes were still closed as he drew a breath and went back in for more!! Roberts cheek bones and his jaw in that scene! Just wow and Aaron has the perfect amount of stubble. The staging the lighting everything about this scene is perfect, what a way to start an affair that will (fingers crossed) last a lifetime 💕
