Now that I've confessed myself as a Tekken fan, I'm gonna go ahead and say it:
I'm getting bad vibes from everyone who saw the trailer for Bob in Tekken 8 and immediately went "ADD SLIM BOB NEXT!"
Like. You do know Slim Bob was a joke character right? Who only showed up in Tag Tournament 2? Which isn't considered part of the main series canon? His whole thing is that he fights like regular Bob but isn't as good cuz he's not fat like regular Bob.
I'm bringing this up not because I think that's all inherently a justification for not including him, but that I think it's kinda telling that you saw them bring back a character who is not just fat, but confidently fat, who outright weaponizes that fatness as part of his fighting style, and you said "yeah... but can you also give us the skinny version of him?"
If you don't wanna play as the fat guy, just play as a different character at that point. Don't demand the devs to twinkify the fat guy just cuz you can't stand him being there.
