a curious cyrptozoologist enquires: how do slimes get along with those in the fair folk kingdoms? how about with other kinds of monsters?
slimes are scared of everything and they hide and can't get along with any monsters that could hurt them because of breeding fears, for other monsters to befriend slimes they have to offer something that the slime has value with
that being said
every slime is different like cave slimes like food, freshwater slimes like modern and material good or natural goods, sea slimes love colorful goods, and chemical slimes dont like anything because theyre just there : ) and even so they might not like those things or they just have enough friends or youre just too scary for them
you have to impress the slime you want to befroend and you have to have them trust you to carry your baby or your egg or your possessions
if you take a slime by force of course it will burn you and if you are unhurt by its burning the slime might give in just because its really scareD??? but thats like a slime by slime basis

Oh no no no! I'd probably love to live in a bird bath or something in a private nice garden. Cave slimes = mean mean mean mean mean
as a slime girl i have to sleep through the hottest time during the day you see
also i need to sleep to avoid the times most bugs are awake so i can encounter as few as possible
did you know that slime animals are a thing? because like
humanoid slimes are slime+water+human DNA, so just replace human with any animal and you can get a slime version
what about slimes made of candy?
food monsters are a close relative of slimes but they're not in our direct family. the closest thing to food slimes in the slime family is when a slime is born with a flavor like me - that means they're part gelatin in some way shape or form.
of course there's things like cheese monsters, bubble gum monsters, etc and even though like i said slimes =/= food monsters, you can still group them in with us and no one will complain.kind of like lady beetles and lady buggies.
What happens if you try to light a slime on fire?
slimes are not flammable but burnable, it hurts them a lot and they usually steam.
if they're a stiff slime thats low on water and high on slime like if they're over fed, their surface will turn hard and crisp and black and you need to put luke warm water on it until the burn goes away and you should probably be taking better care of your slime if thats their current physical state
