A DnD slime pet Free
Happy Birthday Killer here's a kitty themed slime pet for ya, though I went for the usual slime body shape type.
Killer belongs to @rahafwabas
Mythcre stuff cuz!! I haven't posted Mythcre in a while!!
Slimes are the main 'pet' species in Mythcre due to their customizability, docility, and functionality. They don't have any actual nutritional needs, only a baseline requirement for hydration. Literally any liquid will do.
While the most cost-effective option is just...water with colored dye (undyed water isn't usually used for misc reasons*), many owners opt for something more fun than that. Because with any liquid that's not water, Slimes will gain extra physical traits that correspond in some way to what they're drinking!
The heart spot on their chests is a gizzard-like organ. Slimes function like roombas, kinda, in that any debris they pass over gets absorbed into their bodies. These particulates gather in the gizzard, and later get barfed up in little compact, heart-shaped pellets. Owners can train their slimes to deposit these pellets in what's functionally a litter box, usually stationed near where they're fed.
It's illegal to feed a Slime blood**. Sometimes it happens anyway. And when it does, the Slime will adapt sharp protrusions and a proper mouth, in an attempt to give themselves the ability to get more blood on their own. It's the only way for a Slime to be in any way dangerous or hostile.
*(Slimes tend to only want to drink the liquid that makes up their body. A Slime fed on unaltered water can end up gorging themselves in the event they escape their homes, because it's easy to find unaltered water in nature. Bigger Slimes can face serious health risks if the excess mass isn't scooped off)
**(creatures on Mythcre can have blood that comes in all sorts of colors. Red is the primary one, but every other color is fair game too)
Most of the Slimes in SMT games are ugly-cute at best, but the ones in Persona 2 are very adorable. They have a childish personality (which means they enjoy playing and being praised) and also they intersperse their dialogue with 'blort!' and 'squish!'
I want one as a pet
They sound adorable!! Slime pets (in a little slime terrarium for me) would be amazing!
Slime pet for a friend of mine in Discord.
I completely forgot about this draft. It was supposed to be posted a long long time ago.😓
