Here with propaganda for 🧪’s au!!!
The premise is that Charlie and other members of bolas are aliens who show up on earth—they’re just exploring but they look terrifying and their arrival creates a huge panic!
Design was completely up to interpretation, so I went through a few different potential designs (drew them on my phone in the car so they’re a bit messy lol) before I came up with one that works with 🧪’s descriptions of Charlie’s original language as a mix of growling and sign language
The aliens of this species are, in their original forms, a mix of reptilian and bird-like features, with glowing markings that form unique patterns on their bodies. They have the ability to shapeshift, and so it doesn’t take them long to adapt to earth’s atmosphere and ditch the masks they arrived wearing
(I didn’t fit Cellbit or Carre on here but they’re definitely part of the group!)
When the government steps in, most of the members of the exploration team manage to either disguise themselves as humans or escape on their spaceship to rendezvous later. Charlie, however, gets distracted. By a very beautiful man. Who inadvertently gets Charlie captured by the government. Whoops!
I’ll drop more propaganda eventually with the rest of the plot that 🧪 shared, probably in fic form! Not sure if I’m going to do more drawing for this but I had a lot of fun with the designs for bolas :D
