I had to walk a ways to get out here, and when I did, I met an old man who was waiting at the stop. I told him I was going to take a photo of it, and he moved out of the way, then began to ask me what I was doing. Some things he said:
“If you put me in the picture, the lens would explode.”
“If you were a pretty woman it would be more interesting.”
“You should take a picture of that instead [pointing at an admittedly interesting sculpture made up of small rocks reading AUSTIS].”
I said goodbye to him, telling him I didn’t need to wait, and walked back.
