A magical winter wonderland scenery at the Lake Bohinj or as the locals call it Bohinjsko jezero. Not far away from the famous Lake Bled. Lake Bohinj is the largest freshwater lake in Slovenia, located in the Bohinj Valley of the Julian Alps, in the Upper Carniola region which is part of the National Park Triglav where pure peace and serenity awaits you. A snowy landscape, with its shimmery, silver look reflecting in the ice cold and partly frozen water. Two fishermen in the far catch their fish for the day. The magical stag Zlatorog or Golden Horn alleged to guard the edges around the lake standing tall on the rock. From there you’ll see the Church of St John the Baptist looking beautiful while the snow is coming down quite heavy. The glacial lake is 4.2 kilometres in length and 1 kilometre in width.
