Old Country Road - Rural Alabama, US
I found out by coincidence that my Severance Main Titles cover with the Shin Megami Tensei soundfont had received a copyright claim, which didn't surprise me due to the nature of the video, but I expected to be copyrighted by either Atlus, Apple, or Lakeshore Records (The label that released the Severance soundtrack) instead it was copyrighted by a mysterious artist Speed Geek.
Upon first Googling them, I couldn't find music information until I found out about the company Geek Music that's apparently specialised in sync licensing and stuff. I haven't looked much further into it yet, though. I've tried filing a dispute anyway because it's a bit strange that my cover is not being copyright claimed by the actual copyright owner, but rather someone else who slowed down the song. I just find it a bit strange that one would copyright claim someone's song that's the same cover as the song they covered.
Also interesting that they seem to have a publishing/distribution deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, it's probably not that hard to get as a music company, but fascinating to see.
