It's tricky to photograph & film because it's it's thin & long but this is a piece that has been hanging around for ages & i couldn't figure out how to continue with it. I finally changed the way I planned to attach the pieces together & re - discovered it. It's a piece that is made from scrapes of scrapes of scrapes with pieces from all over, worked on & left & picked up again time & time again. I've loved it & hated it & wondered why I've kept it around. It's falling apart but also sewn tightly together. It's doesn't fit together perfectly but it still connects. It's unconventional but follows in a strong tradition. Apparently it's very me. I finished the #sashiko #visiblemending on the bottom corner of this vintage #armysurplus laundry bag. there's some folded cloth inside to fluff it up for the shot. I like how the alternating single and double strand running stitches look now that it's all finished. This one is the same size as the other one I posted on March 6th. #slowstitches
